My secured credit card that I obtained from said business has been restricted from use because I tried to use my debit card to make my first payment. I had funds on my debit card, they just wouldn't accept it. When I tried to log in online my access to my account was denied. I also tried over the phone to resolve the issue and just keep getting transferred and put on hold for hours at a time. I haven't even had the card a month yet and the bill isn't even die till the 27th of April. The only charge on the account when my first bill was due is my annual fee.Business response

I opened a card with Open Sky credit card back in 2020 to help build up my credit and gave them a $500 deposit to open my card which was supposed to be returned when I closed my card. I called to close my card back in November and was unable to due to the fact that someone had made a $12 fraudulent charge on my account. After at least 2 hours on the phone nothing was done and even though I wanted my card closed they sent me a new card. I called back in January of 2022 and they did the exact same thing and no $500 check was returned. I called again on April 7th 2022 and was told that no one had ever closed my accounts each time I called which means I was being lied to about closing my account and receiving my $500 deposit. It's now been almost 6 months and they have managed to each time be dishonest about closing my account or returning my deposit.Business response

I, the consumer and original creditor in fact, are aware of your fraudulent and discriminatory practices while operating as a creditor 15 USC 1602(g). I, the applicant, initiated a Consumer Credit Transaction using my Credit Card 15 USC 1601 (1) and furthermore, not only did a transaction occur warranting unauthorized use as per 15 USC 1602(p), but the consumer which is myself never benefited. On 02/14//2022 I sent OPENSKY CAPITAL BANK NA I letter regarding to my consumer reports because I have noticed various areas they are furnishing my information. If you haven’t been made aware, there are various Federal Laws in place to protect me as a consumer and to construct this business transaction. As a gentle reminder you CAN NOT report/treat a payment on an open ended credit plan as late for any reason. If you need direct citation please refer to 15USC 1666(B). I also would like to bring forth another law pertinent to this letter/complaint; 15USC 1681(B) where it states that as a consumer would need to give you PERMISSION to furnish information on my behalf. To date, I have not granted you such authority. Your apparent and constant neglect to properly carry out your job is costing me by ruining my consumer report. This letter/complaint is an attempt to remedy the following listings you have listed on my consumer report. As I have contacted OpenSky Capital Bank NA and the corresponding information is not as listed on my consumer reports. These accounts should promptly be updated as ON TIME. Account #************* This is clearly billing errors 15 U.S. Code § 1666 you are ruining my reputation by reporting my private information to the public 15 U.S. Code § 6801 and also I would like to bring forth 15 U.S. Code § 1666d and refund me my money, please. I paid off my open sky credit card after sitting on the phone for 5 hours the first call, 2 for the second and 3 for the third call. Trying to get ahold of open sky credit card company is practically IMPOSSIBLE. After I finally did I've paid off my card and wanted to close the account completely. Not only did they not close the account till a week later from my call, (original call was on the 9th of January, second call was the thirteenth of January and the second call is when the account was actually closed) the check for the security deposit STILL hasn't even been sent out yet and I called today the 29th of January. And they are saying now I have to wait a month to TWO months to even get the check from when they mail it out not from the date the account was closed which I was told from the date the account is closed. So not only have they not mailed the security deposit check the day the account was closed and paid off in full its 17 days AFTER that date and they STILL haven't sent the check out. Absolutely do not get a credit card from this company.Business response

I applied for a secured credit card through this Company. It has been almost a month and still have received no card, even though it says that it takes 4 days to process. I put $200.00 down on the card. There is absolutely NO WAY to contact them! They have a customer service number, but all that you get is a medical alert Company at that phone number! I would NEVER have gone with this Company if I had not seen it on ****** *****! I'm sick to my stomach! You cant even communicate with them! This feels like a scam to me! Something needs to be done. You should be able to freely communicate with them. They now have my money and no way to get it back!Business response
