Im a 72 year old on a fixed income and I purchased ****** for $538.74 on Jan. 30, 2023, order #*********. When the ****** arrived, I opened it on my carpeted floor. I immediately determined the ****** was too heavy and two wide! I did not use the ******. We packed the ****** back up in its original packaging. I called the company on Feb. 8, 2023 and spoke to ******. I explained the situation and she sent me a label to send it back and said I would get a refund when they receive the ******. We mailed it back that day with **** Today, I got an email from ****** at Simply Medical saying I would not get a refund because the chair was used and cannot be resold, therefore I would not be getting a refund. I called 2/16/23 Simply Medical and spoke to *******. ******* told me their warehouse had received the ****** back and the wheels were scuffed up and it could not be resold. I was shocked! I have 5 witnesses who watched me open the product and repack it immediately and I never used it. She said she had evidence. I have yet to see the evidence, but I did not scuff the wheels. I never used the ******. I am outraged. They are refusing to refund my money and they are keeping in their possession, the perfectly new ******, WHICH I NEVER USED!! If they think they have evidence, how do we know that their their warehouse didnt scuff up the wheels. After reading reviews for this company it does not surprise that this company scams elderly folks. Im out $538.74 because I am a victim. This is clearly a case of Elder abuse! If we need to go to small claims Court, I will. Perhaps a class-action petition needs to be filed. Thank you.
