I purchased a 2015 Chevrolet Suburban from the dealership on 7/26/2022 for $18,900. The dealership said that the vehicle was very reliable and assured my husband and I there were no issues with the vehicle, Even stated her and her family used the vehicle to take a trip not long before us purchasing the vehicle so she assured there were no issues. When she described the service contract for protection against the vehicle she kept talking about "if the vehicle has transmission issues". No less than two weeks after purchasing the vehicle, it started to vibrate. I took it to a mechanic and after his break down of the vehicle he said the car needs a new transmission. Due to his professional experience as a mechanic he said due to the maintenance of the vehicle, he is sure the company did what maintenance they preformed because they knew it needed a transmission and they tried to cover it up until someone purchased the vehicle. I reached out to the dealership to see if they would be able to assist with the cost of repairs to the "reliable vehicle" they claimed to sell me but I have not received any response from the dealership. Our mechanic says that this dealership knowingly sold us a faulty vehicle and they knew it would cost thousands of dollars to repair. I have not even had the vehicle a month, nor have I even put a few hundred miles on the vehicle due to the mechanical issues of the vehicle.

Im very sorry your vehicle is having issues. When you purchased it, I never made any expressed warranty of the condition of the vehicle. I asked you to test drive it and check it out to see what you think. Your husband was there with you to check out the vehicle for you. I did say I drove it about 2 hrs away and back with no  known issues That was a true statement. You also said you drove it for two weeks as well as the initial test drive before you purchased it, and no issues until two weeks later. I can not predict the future and made no warranty on how long it would be before an issue could arise. Again, I am sorry for the issues it is having. I did not know anything about a bad transmission, because it showed ko signs of bad transmission until two weeks later. I'm going off of hear say, but if the mechanic is stating I knew about it, and knowingly sold you a vehicle with a bad transmission, that is defamation of character. That is not a true statement. I did explain and made sure you understand that But Low Auto Sales was selling the vehicle As-Is with no warranty through our dealership. I did explain that there is a service contract through a third party company that was good for 3o days and could be continued if you chose to. I gave you the brochure and contract number highlighting the information and refered you to online for the details on the contract . I also explained there was a deductible and other fees that you would be responsible for if a claim should arise. For example; you pay a portion of labor fee if it is more than a certain amount allowed. I am as transparent as I can be at the time of sell in hopes that there are no misunderstandings about the purchase agreement between Buy Low and it's customers. Unfortunately, used vehicles can have issues unexpectedly.  Even new vehicles have recalls for unforseen issues. We are a small dealership without a shop or mechanics. I explain that at time of sale and I let all customers know it is an As-Is sale. I also explain about the service contract for one month with option to continue it.  month to month until a certain mileage. Please call during business hours in the afternoon and I will return call if im with a customer I can explain this by phone
