      Ordered over the phone on 9/18/23 (18) - 11 foot long steel Carport legs (1) - 30 foot long gray aluminum roof siding.Was told 3 to 6 weeks for deliver. Was very important to get in this time frame because I had new RV coming and needed the legs to raise my carport up higher so new RV would fit under it. I started calling around 6 week **** and was told we don't have any idea when it will be delivered. We will not come until we can get a full truck load to be delivered in your area and we don't know when that will be. I tool them I needed the carport legs because my new RV was coming around 2nd. week of Nov. They refused to give me an answer when they would bring them. So I drove ***************************************** Virginia to get my Carport legs that I had to have that were just laying there in their factory. I told them I still wanted the 30 foot siding to be delivered by them because it would not fit in my pickup truck. I went to factory picked up my 18 - carport legs paid in full for the legs and was told they would keep my $200. deposit for the siding they was going to deliver. 4 weeks later (Dec 2) I called to see when the siding would be delivered and they still tell me they have no idea, Whenever they can get a full load in my area. I tell them forget it! Just refund my $200. deposit. They said no problem they would. Today is March 8 2024 (3 months and a week later) and I still have not received my deposit back. I have called them 8 times and continue to get run around. Everything from it will be sent today, it will be sent next week, we can't get a hold of ******************* Asked for manager and was told ****************** is the manage, was even told to just dispute it with my credit card which I called and am waiting to hear back from them. It seems that no one at this establishment as any idea what is going on and no one cares to help you. I have no idea how they can stay in business.

      We placed an order for a metal carport at Newmart Builders on March 31, 2023 and gave a deposit in the amount of $242.50. The check was cashed on April 10, 2023. They then told us to notify them and let them know when we were ready to build the metal carport because we had to get permits. Unfortunately, the need for the metal carport changed and we called Newmart Builders on April 25, 2023 and cancelled and requested a refund. We have made numerous attempts to receive our deposit back by visiting the office and repeated phone calls and were told that we would receive our refund. However, we still have not received our refund and its November 7, 2023. They have very poor communication skills. When contacting them by phone or visit they act like they dont know what we are talking about and give us the same old excuses. For example: the lady that give refunds is not here today, well give you a call, or we going to look into it. We are just requesting our deposit back.

      Accounting has pulled the order and will be issuing a refund because it was permit related.  Normal refunds are only granted 3 business days after the processing fee is collected.

      I already have a complaint against Newmart Builders case #********. I reached out to the business on 01/29/2024 to find out about my refund and they told me they had sent my refund out in November and I told them I did not get a refund. She stated that they would do research on their end but did not say that they would send another refund to me. It has been over a week and I have not heard from them nor received a refund as of yet.

      We had issued a refund, but after the customer told us they hadn't received it, we needed to check on the status with the bank.  The check has not gone through for payment, so we did issue a stop payment on the first check, and will issue another check Friday 2/23.  We cut checks once a month for refunds and vendors.  We apologize about the inconvenience.

      This issue has not been resolved. They responded with a message that they were going to send a check  on February 23rd so I was waiting to respond and as always we have not received anything. They only reply to try to make it look like they are going to resolve the issue but they dont. Its been a year that we started trying to get our money back with still no luck.

      I iwas not able to move forward with a steel barn i had paid a substantial deposit on and notified New Mart on several occasions to please refund my money. I have had 4 phone calls with office managers and staff whom agree it is owed to me. They have no customer service skills. I will be filing a complaint in small claims court. This is terribly sad that they think it is ok to steal peoples money

      I hired a company to build me a 30x60 metal building. Crew showed up very late and unprofessional. Once they completed the metal garage, upon inspection, it was an absolute disaster. I paid them prior to being able to make it to the site for initial inspection. They have attempted to fix it multiple times yet things are still not square or to a desired quality. Within weeks of it being fixed the roof began to leak in multiple spots. The entire building is just terribly built and is hard to look at. I dont trust the quality of work or the lifetime of what they built me.

      I ordered a 30x60 metal building from Newmart Builders **** They installed the building starting September 19, 2022. After a week it was "complete". Throughout the process they showed up late and left early every day. I hold a full time job and was not able to get to site every day. Prior to a work trip I swung by to deliver the check, the building wasn't complete yet but I wanted to make sure I paid for my job. It's my fault for not doing a thorough inspection or else I wouldn't have paid a *****. One of the workers handed me a folded piece of paper that looked like a job order. He asked that I sign it to confirm that I received a building and not someone else. They repeated that multiple times. My fault for not reading it over in more detail but I was ******* off to a flight.

      When back from my business trip, I walked around the building and was horrified. For every mistake I saw, my eyes grew wider and everything became much more noticeable. The workers did not have the proper training nor cared for the building I was paying them to make. 

      It is now November 28, 2022. I am still without a metal building that I paid for. My entire roof is a disaster, and all Newmart Builders **** keep saying is that they'll "fix" it. I want a refund and will hire a more trustworthy contractor to finish their poor job. 

      Not once, has leadership from Newmart Builders even attempted to come to site and inspect. Currently the building will not pass inspection nor can even repel water. 

      A "fix" is not good enough.

      On the 30th, we scheduled a complete roof replacement for the 12/5/22 weather permitting.  We gave the option for a discount or a new roof and **************** requested the roof replacement.  We gave the crew an entire day for this repair.
