I took my vehicle in for a safety inspection on ******** at 1pm. During this inspection I was advised I failed for my battery hold down and an inoperable defrost. They advised that the battery hold down was so rusted that it was a safety concern causing the battery to not be secured. I paid the shop $77.30 to replace the hold down. The cost was $45.60 for the part and $30.10 to replace the part. I then took my vehicle home and had the issue with the defrost repaired and during that repair found that the part was not replaced and took clear photos of it showing that it was not adjusted or replaced. The part is neither rusted out and only has surface rust to it. I brought the vehicle back on ******** at 7:30am to have the safety inspection done once again and waited for it to pass inspection. Upon it passing inspection with the same battery hold down it had when I first went there I asked for a refund. The shop then changed their story stating that they just needed to secure it and would refund me the cost of the part only. I advised them I have proof that they never adjusted the hold down or even touched it and they still refused to refund me the labor. The shop then tried to say they must've had me confused with another car that was there getting an inspection but I was the only customer there and the only vehicle being inspected as when I arrived my vehicle went straight into the bay without any wait time. Also the shop advised me to get financing for the repair of the defrost assuring me that everything is a soft pull and would never effect my credit score. However two hours leaving the establishment I received notification of my credit score being lowered because of the recent credit check by the company they suggested I finance through. Now this is on my credit history for two years. I have since found out there are multiple complaints about this establishment where they have failed other people for battery hold downs and wonder if they were ever replaced as well.

By September 29, I had taken my Silverado into the Meineke in Stafford VA three times to have the tailgate locking mechanism repaired. I was charged $246 for this service, but the repair was never successfully completed. The tailgate latch and lock mechanism is still not working and I can't get the tailgate to open. The owner and his 3rd party operator refused to refund or warranty their work. This is not a professional or ethical approach to business.

On February 14, 2022, I took a Honda minivan to Meineke to inspect my vehicle and they told me that I had to leave the vehicle because the inspection was taking a while and they called me later to tell me what was wrong. When they call me they tell me that I have to go to the store because there are several things to replace. They tell me what they are and I tell them it's okay to put them on all except the stud, nud and braces because I can put them on. When I go to pick up the vehicle, I pay for everything and I see that the brakes were charged so well that I told him no. I was charged $***.00 for replacing parts that were not fully installed. They owed $***.00 for some brakes that were not installed. They say that only the owner can pay me because they do not refund money in the store. Invoice number # 196426.
