I purchased a 2019 **** edge from Ez auto on 04/02/2025 for $12500. The car had a chip in the windshield which they said they would fix or replace the windshield. I have texts messages stating this. Apparently a guy was supposed to come today at 3pm to fix this issue. But no one has shown up, I either get ghosted or fobbed off with an excuse.Business Response

The detailed description of what was attempted to purchase was a car GMC ARCADIA 2017. The expected receipt day was supposed to be day after the payment was made. The merchandise did not arrive at the wrong location. It was never delivered. Yes the merchant has refused to cancel it or give me merchandise. No the merchant is not in bankruptcy or liquidation. No the merchandise was not delivered late. It was never delivered. The merchant did not receive any merchandise only the 1500 dollars sent. No merchandise was ever returned because it was never received. I started asking for a refund on march 1st. I sent a certification of the merchant refusing to provide return authorization thru my telephone sms text that was submitted to you. The merchant owes us money because i gave my deposit with the promise of receiving a vehicle after weeks of looking and negotiations. They then started giving me the run around not answering my calls. I had to call them over and over again as you can see from the log and i was told everyday it would be done. Even telling me about computer glitch. Then march 10th almost a month after they tell me their keeping my money. On the paper i sent with the *** NUMBER of the car when i closely looked at the car with that vin was sold on march 14 of 2024 a year ago.Business Response

I purchased a truck form this horrible dealership. The truck I was purchasing was supposed to be for my business. I asked all the staff that was assisting me can I register this with the business they promised me they would take care of it. Now in hind sight they just made promises that they could not keep. I found out later that I could not register my truck under the business even though they insured me that this would not be an issue. Upon going to get my truck inspected the truck failed bad shocks in the front as well as the rear shocks as well as all tires are bald. I asked for new tires and they told me the tires are fine. But the tires and shocks failed inspection. I was told by *** the owner that they would rectify all of these things. I took the car to the shop to only have them rectify the shocks even after they promised me. Wish I got it in writing. I had to spend over $1,000 for tires on a new vehicle which is ridiculous. When I asked **** the manager to resolve this he said " we did you a favor by getting the shocks fixed" but my sentiment is that you did yourself a favor by using malicious sales tactics to sell a car. They promised I would be able to register the car as a business they lied and now I cannot reap the benefits of my tax write off on this truck. Not to add that I also had to come out 1,000$ after spending 36,000$ on a truck. The manager **** and *** the owner made promises they did not keep and when I reached out to them it was as if I was begging something. They at this point began to be rude and not assist in helping me resolve my issue. At the minimum I would like an apology and the 1,200$ that it took to purchase my tires which I was promised. The owner made a promise that he did not stand by because I would have just returned the truck if I had knowledge of this. Making faulty promises just to make a sale is so sleezy then to make a customer who spent money with you feel as if they are begging for something they must be stopped.Business Response

First, the vehicle in question passed its Virginia state inspection prior to purchase. However, when the customer chose to have the vehicle inspected in ********, we discovered that the shocks needed replacement. In good faith, and to ensure the vehicles safety and performance, we covered the necessary repairs at a cost exceeding $1,500.
Regarding the customers request to title the vehicle under his company name, we consulted with the financing institution, and they advised us that this arrangement did not meet their underwriting criteria. As a result, we were unable to proceed with titling the vehicle in the companys name. We informed the customer that if the vehicle is indeed being used for business purposes, there may be potential tax benefits available to him. However, because tax-related questions and deductions vary by individual circumstance, we encourage the customer to seek professional tax advice from a certified accountant or tax professional to determine the options best suited to his business.
We regret any inconvenience this situation may have caused. Our dealership remains committed to working with our customers to resolve concerns and to provide quality service.Initial Complaint

On 11/21/2024 we purchased a 2015 ************* from EZ Auto Sales Corp. It was late in the evening as we drove 2 hours to check this vehicle out. We decided to buy this car, with EZ Auto Sales agreeing to fix things we pointed out. One of the things they were to fix is why the Auxiliary Battery malfunction that displayed on the screen when we drove it. After fixing these things they said they would have the car delivered to us and it took over a week and a half to get the car delivered. They didn't say what was found with the Auxiliary Battery malfunction. They also told us that all of the tires were new on the car. After receiving the car on 12-4-2024 late in the evening, we drove the car the next day and the Auxiliary Battery malfunction was still on the display, the heat wasn't working like it should. We left to go out of town, so the car sit for 5 days, which was 12-8-2024 and when we came back one of the tire was flat and the heat was not working at all, blowing cold air. We call and left messages 12-11-2024, with no call back from EZ auto sales Corp. We thought there is no way we should have to check the coolant and we haven't drove the car that much. We took the car to check the coolant levels and the vehicle runs hot, and we had to pull over. We called EZ Auto Sales Corp and talked with ******, who was going to call us back or have his manager call back. ****** said they do a 200 point inspection on their vehicles, and said there is no way you all did with the check coolant coming in less than a week of us having it. On 12-17-2024 the vehicle had leaked some light brown milky liquid, we took the car to get checked out and found out it has a blown head gasket. We finally talked to someone on 12-23-2024 and was basically, told there was nothing they could do. I asked about the battery malfunction and was told it was a back up battery and that we really didn't need it and that they didn't agree to fix it. They sold us a lemon and not willing to do anything.Business Response

Thank you for reaching out regarding your 2015 ************* purchase from EZ Auto Sales Corp. We appreciate your feedback and understand your concerns.
As with all pre-owned vehicles, some maintenance or repairs may become necessary over time. To assist our customers in mitigating such risks, we offer optional extended warranty plans to provide additional coverage. In this case, our records indicate that the warranty option was declined, and the vehicle was purchased "as-is," as reflected in the documents signed at the time of sale.
Our team makes every effort to inspect and prepare vehicles prior to delivery, and we encourage all customers to conduct their own due diligence before purchase. While we aim to provide vehicles in reliable condition, unforeseen issues may arise due to the nature of pre-owned vehicles. We value your business and thank you for choosing EZ Auto Sales Corp. If you have further questions or require any documentation related to your purchase, please feel free to reach out to us.

I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The reason I reject this offer , is per the attachment that they didn't fix what they said they would. The Auxiliary Battery Malfunction was listed and it wasn't fixed. After multiple attempts to contact them, I was told that Auxiliary Battery Malfunction wasn't needed, that it was something that happens to this type of car and controls things like the cigarette lighters. They sold me a car that I can't fully use or enjoy. They knew that there was issues with the car, for the simple fact that the heat didn't work in the car when it arrived. I truly believe this is the reason they offered to have the car delivered to me, as it would've ran hot on a two hour ride home. They lied about the tires being new also and when we test drove the car, ****** actually started the car and made some type of adjustment he said, which was probably resetting the display for the warning not to come up.

I financed a vehicle from NVA motors in ****************** with a down payment 5k on 12/23/23. NVA motors is a dealership that is also owned by EZ sales ********* since 2021.I was rushed to sign papers and accept the deal thru ******** financial with my first payment due on February 2nd 2024. Prior to the first payment I decided I should see what my car was worth and grabbed the VA safety inspection checklist to enter the *** into the *** database. The first thing noticed was that the *** on the checklist was missing numbers and it was dated 11/03/2023. So then I checked the actually safety inspection sticker which also did not have the *** number as well. I then took it upon myself to get the car re-inspected only to find that the car would not pass inspection and that it is impossible to misprint 16 digits instead of 17 digits on an official safety checklist. I reached back out the dealership NVA motors only to find out that the dealership had closed permanently while also learning that the deal with ******** financial did not reach agreement. So after weeks of research I learned of EZ Auto Sales Corp, who refuse to come get the vehicle so I can get my down payment back, have tried every except what they are required to do according to Virginia Code titled Buyers Orders. Now they refuse to call back or accept my calls while Im forced to store a car unregistered, with expired temp tags in the ************************. I just want my money backBusiness Response

I purchased a 2012 ****** Sentra on 8/19/23. At the time of purchase, it was too late in the day to have it inspected before driving home, but **** offered me a contract that said EZ Auto Sales would pay for any major repairs or that I could return the car, within 30 days of purchase. So I purchased the car and had it inspected a few days later on 8/24/23 by ***'s ************* The mechanic there told me that the transmission was completely failing and that I would either need to replace it or return the vehicle. Additionally, he noted a problem with the suspension and struts, which he said were leaking. I initially asked to return the car, but **** refused to take it, instead offering to repair it, and on 9/1/23 I took it to their mechanic, Expert Auto Repair in ***********, **. After they had worked on it, I had it re-inspected by ******************* on 9/11/23, who said that the suspension was still an issue. Thus I took it back to Expert Auto Repair on 9/15/23, and trusted they had solved the issue. However, on 10/8/23, my car broke down while on the highway, and after taking it back to ******************* on 10/9/23, was told that the transmission needed to be replaced. They quoted me $6,137.55 (the original cost of the car had been $6,500, which I paid to EZ Auto Sales). Min's ************ had been correct all along, but EZ Auto Sales had ignored the real issue and left it unresolved.Since then, I have reached out to EZ Auto Sales multiple times, via text, phone, and email, but have either been put on hold, given false assurances that they would resolve it, or outright ignored. It has been a month since my car broke down, and it is currently still at the mechanic (Craftsman Auto Repair) because I do not trust it driving home. I need EZ Auto Sales to uphold their end of the contract and pay for this major repair that needs to happen, or replace the car.Business Response

Dear *****,
Thank you for reaching out to ** regarding the 2012 ****** Sentra you purchased from EZ Auto Sales on 8/19/23. We appreciate your feedback and your patience in this matter. We understand your concerns about the vehicle, and we have carefully reviewed the details of your purchase. It's important to clarify that the 2012 ****** Sentra was indeed sold to you "as is." When a vehicle is sold in an "as is" condition, it means that it is sold without any warranty, and the buyer accepts full responsibility for the vehicle's condition and any potential issues that *** arise after the sale.
While we strive to provide accurate descriptions of our vehicles and ensure they are in good working order at the time of sale, the "as is" nature of the sale places the onus on the buyer to conduct thorough inspections and due diligence before making the purchase.
We regret any inconvenience you have experienced with the vehicle, but unfortunately, given the "as is" nature of the sale, there are limitations on what we can do to address post-purchase issues.
If you have any further questions or concerns, we recommend consulting with a qualified mechanic or legal advisor to explore potential courses of action.
Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding of the terms of the sale.Sincerely,

Although this car was sold to me "as is" as the business says, they additionally **** up a "We Owe" contract with me, that promised they would pay for any major repairs needed, or return my money to me, within 30 days of purchase. I notified them of the issue of the transmission as soon as I had the car inspected (by ***'s Auto Repair), and they agreed that it needed repairs, sending it to their mechanic twice. However, they never resolved the issue, and by the time the car broke down from said issue, it was past the 30 days. However, it is important to note that this issue was identified and reported *within* the thirty days, so they are still repsonsible for covering the cost of the repair.Thank you,

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership on July 7th. The vehicle specified is a 2012 Audi Q5. This vehicle was broken down within 2 hours of purchase. Dealership attempted to repair vehicle and never completed repairs, the vehicle was returned to Me still in an unsafe condition to drive. I've had the vehicle appraised at carmax for 5000$ and diagnosed by several technicians to be unsafe to drive. The Dealership committed fraud due to this and also due to misleading me to make my first loan payment. The Dealership misled me into making my payment telling me the repair was covered by warranty and the dealer won't pay for repairs. The warranty coverage did not cover any of the diagnosed issues and I canceled the warranty due to this. I've been told by many experienced dealerships and technicians that's the Dealership named by EZ Auto Sales scammed and defrauded me. Please look into this issue with great care because the Dealership is scamming both of us the Bank and customer both.Business Response

18375399 -Ez Auto Sales is a business that sells used vehicles, and as with any used car, there is always a risk that it may require repairs shortly after purchase. When ***** *************************** purchased a vehicle from Ez Auto Sales, it was sold "As Is," which means that the buyer assumes all responsibility for any repairs or maintenance needed after the sale. However, Ez Auto Sales went above and beyond for ***** *************************** by spending over $1,000 on repairs to assist with his vehicle purchase. This was an act of goodwill and a gesture of their commitment to customer satisfaction. They took it upon themselves to cover the cost of the repairs in the hopes of ensuring that their customer was satisfied with their purchase and that the vehicle was in good working condition.Despite this gesture, ***** *************************** did not even thank Ez Auto Sales for their assistance. Instead, he decided not to make his car payment, which ultimately led to the car being repossessed by the bank. This is a disappointing outcome for both parties, as Ez Auto Sales went above and beyond to provide assistance and support, only to be met with a lack of gratitude and responsibility from the customer. In conclusion, Ez Auto Sales demonstrated exceptional customer service by spending over $1,000 on repairs to assist with ***** ******************************* vehicle purchase. Unfortunately, the lack of appreciation and responsibility shown by the customer ultimately led to a negative outcome for both parties. On May 7, 2022, my son and I test drove a car at EZ Auto Sales Corp. in ********, **. I put a refundable $500 cash deposit down on the car with a guy whose name starts with "Y". I explained to "Y" that there were several cars we were looking elsewhere, and he said in order to hold their car, they required a $500 refundable deposit, which I agreed to do. My son's father ended up purchasing a car elsewhere. On May 11, I contact "Y" and asked for a refund of my $500. I have been given a complete run around for almost 3 mos. now. I was told to contact the corporate office, which I did. Corporate replied asking for the contract info. and my info., which I sent. I reached out again and was told they hadn't received my info. due to SPAM, but they were working on it. I have reached out a dozen times and still have not received by refund. It seems they are hoping I will forget about my refund, but I will not. I feel they have deceitful and unprofessional business practices, and all I want is my refund asap! I was never told that my refund would take months to receive, or that I would have to go thru corporate to receive it. They had no issues contacting me when they were trying to make a sale, but now they have nothing but excuses when trying to get my refund.Customer Answer
