April ******* I contacted Mega Auto outlet about a 2017 **** Q7, we proceeded with the finance paperwork. I was approved and put the down payment down on the vehicle through Global lending. When it came to sign the documents my sales *** informed me that he told global lending I put down 6000 thousand instead of 3500 and when they call me to tell them that. He said your payments will be 699 I immediately told him I couldn't do it after reading the contract I noticed he added on an extra 12 thousand to the 13 thousand dollars vehicle. I didn't sign any documents and requested a refund. The business is refusing my refund I'm not in possession of the vehicle I didn't sign any contracts I contacted Global lending bank and instructed them I was not doing business with Mega Auto outlet and to withdraw my application. The next day Mega Auto outlet put in a new application for a different vehicle after I requested a refund. Global lending bank called me and tried to finish the process that's when I informed them it was fraud. I contacted Mega Auto outlet several times for my refund they stop returning my calls and will not answer my calls unless I call from a different number then they place me on hold and never pick upBusiness Response

I purchased a car on 10/21/2024. I wasnt aware that I was paying a 999 processing fee. my engine light came on in two weeks. I called and let them know but for a few days no one was answering so I finally got in contact with someone and they told me to bring the car down to get it fixed so when I got there, I was telling them that I didnt no longer want the car because the engine light came on in two weeks and they said it was a good car and not to worry about it so when I got there, they told me to take it to a mechanic and they would pay for it and it is a hour and 30 minutes from where I live and I dont know any mechanics but they said that they were going to fix it and they could have told me that before I got there, but they told me to bring it to them so when I got there, they offered me some alcohol, but I poured it out. Also, they said I owe them 500 on the back, but the car wasnt cleaned like it was supposed to been so they gave me $50 of that and said just get it cleaned and I was trying to negotiate that but being that I was calling about the car and they never answered it didnt matter because I was telling them I wanted another car and they tried to tell me that that was a good car, but it is not. I didnt pay them the 450 and they never said anything because they knew they were wrong. Its a lot more to it, but I have all of my paperwork and I am just trying to get what I deserve because I gave them $6000 and they gave me a messed up car and I was fair and really dont appreciate that. Im just trying to get this issue resolved please and thank you.Business Response

I reached out to this dealership and let them know I had a vehicle to trade in and wanted to purchase a vehicle on their lot. I left my vehicle to which was with them for 30 days and the Lein holder kept calling so I found out they never reached out for a payoff and once I reached out to Mega Outlet after holding over a period of 4-5 calls days in a row 45 min long, they told me they wouldnt accept the vehicle for a trade in after having it for 30 days. They never called to tell me so I reached out because the loan was not paid off for a trade in jeopardizing my credit and once on the phone they said they never told me they would accept the vehicle as a trade in and it was just collateral. However I paid cash for the vehicle I purchased from them and no collateral would have been needed! They scammed me and are scamming people everyday! This is leaving me in a bind and messing my credit up because I cant afford two car payments. I took a loan out through my bank and delivered a check to them. Also they told me ***** was the owner and their was no one else to talk to and they were dropping my old car off to me.Customer Answer

10/22/2024, I went to Mega Auto Outlet in ********, ** to purchase a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee. My down payment was $4,800.00. The salesmen and the finance manager assisted me. I drove off the lot, and on the way home, the check engine light came on and the Jeep cut off on me on the highway. I could have got hurt. I called the dealership and was told to bring the Jeep back and they will take care of the issue; not knowing what the issue was. When I took the jeep back, nothing was fixed. They mentioned it just needed a tune-up, and they have to order the parts. Coming back home the 2nd time, the jeep began shaking badly. I called back and they said they will send a tow truck (2xs) and never did. I took it to the repair shop and I am being told to return the jeep. However, the dealership Mega Auto Outlet refuses to take the car back. I have proof and estimates from previous repair shops as well as my own.Business Response

I found the dealership online. Was looking into a vehicle that I was interested in. I gave a $1000 deposit to hold the car when I was told that it is fully refundable the same day I went to the bank to get loan and was waiting for the car information. The dealership never provided it to me and only gave me their wire information When I asked for the refund because I decided to cancel the deal due to them, not failing their agreement. They told me they dont care and theyre keeping my money after reading many reviews. I see this is happened to many many people before please help.Business Response

I bought a car from this dealership in July. I paid for the car in full and I also paid extra for them to transport the car to me when I was in *******. The car was $18,995 they're processing fee was $1,000. Ended up paying $21,355 so that they could ship the car to me and handle my tags and title. It is now October 9th, And I have yet to get the title for my vehicle and because they could not find a company to transport my car my girlfriend came and picked up the car and they refused to refund me the money that I paid to have the car transported. It has been nothing but a headache dealing with this dealership. I actually had to call the police on them in order just to get my car after I paid for it in full. Because after I wire transferred the money to them they disappeared on me for several days no one was taking my phone calls and everybody was acting like I was wrong for trying to figure out what was going on with the car I just 21k for.Business Response

Good afternoon,
Upon reviewing the deal made with Mr. *** on 07/25/24, there was no payment made for transport. We are not sure how the confusion/misunderstanding happened. We were initially going to ship out the vehicle to Mr. *** on our own expense. We use a third-party shipping company and occasionally we are able to ship out the vehicle the same day as purchase. In Mr. ***** case, it took us a couple days to find a shipper. Mr. *** did not want to wait and had his girlfriend pick up the vehicle. His title has been mailed out to his residence. If Mr. *** has any other questions/concerns, he is more than welcome to contact me at the dealer at *************.
Thank you,

As you can see this is the buyer's order or the bill of sale this is what I paid for for the car I paid $20,550 for this vehicle and I sent them an additional $800 for them to ship the car to me.I have no idea why or how this dealership is still in business, they lie so bad it is ridiculous. If what he is saying is true then why did I send them $21,355.00on August 5th? When the car was only $20,550. Did I think the extra $800 was a tip? And he can't say that they didn't get that deposit because, clearly they did because I have the car!!!

I've called them on 10/28/2024 at 2:36pm & 4:45 pm. The response is always the same thing. The same thing that been going on since I purchased the vehicle in August. I'm given the run around, told that someone will call me back. It's all a lie. And it's only $850..... But it's my $850. It's not their money. Why should they be able to keep money for service they didn't provide?.It's clear and evident within their own paperwork and bank deposit.

So l stopped by a small lot, Mega Auto Sales (over 3 hours away from where I live after getting messed over by a franchise dealer on 9/2(Labor Day). Saw a car I liked, negotiated with ***** and put down a $100 (through cash app) deposit for the car. Two days later, I accidentally cash apped them an extra $1200 by mistake. Immediately called the dealership and let them know of my error, which they acknowledged. The sales manager told me I could stop by and pick it up via check since they "can't" send it back through cash app. I called back and said I wouldn't be able to come the next day because of the work and that l'd be up there on the weekend. Drove up on the weekend and they tell me their accountant is not in on the weekend. Spoke to the sales manager and he said if I called on Monday and spoke with the accountant, she could overnight a check. Called her on Monday and she agreed to send a check, took my info, and said she would have a tracking number to me within an hour. Called back 2 hours later and the associates said she left early to celebrate her birthday. Called them again on the next day and she transferred me back to the sales manager who ultimately said the $1200 was non refundable. That doesn't make sense because they know that was not our agreed upon deposit. The sales manager wants me to email them my complaint, which I already did but what is that going to do?Business Response
