On December 17, 2022 I purchased a 2021 ****** Rav4 with ****** miles on it. I was assured that I was getting this car $2,000 below it's cost. I was also shown a Carfax that this car had no accidents. Within 45 days of this purchased the car was in the shop because of an offal gas smell. This is when I discovered that this car has actually been in some type of collision. The ****** dealership informed me that this car has been in some type of collision and that it is going to cost a little under $4,000 to be repaired. I called the salesman and he assured me that he knew nothing of it. He stated that ***************************** is the one who purchased it and did not inform ******* that the car had been damaged.

First I would like to say that this vehicle was sold by the previous dealer operator that is no longer with the company. You can change the dealer contact to me for any further issues. These stated issues were brought to our attention fairly recently and we have had contact with this client regarding the 2021 RAV4 with VIN *****************. The vehicle was purchased from Manheim  auto auction with a condition report that indicated no structural or previous damage, allowing it to be sold with a "Green Light," (meaning no known or preexisting issues.) This purchase from the auto auction  was carried out on or around November 11, 2022. Again, there was never a disclosure of the vehicle ever being in any accident or collision at all. Just as the client stated in her statement neither her nor we (PK Auto Sales) were aware of these stated issues. I have attached the Carfax that was pulled yesterday April 18, 2022 and there is still no indication of any collision. Again when we were notified by the customer recently, dialogue was started and eventually came up with a reasonable fix. However, throughout these discussions we were never given the opportunity to look over the vehicle nor fix any of the stated issues. As a result to ensure client happiness and the attempt to handle it in a fair and just way we offered to buy back the vehicle and pay 97% of their down payment back, which was $22,000, as well as paying off her vehicle loan.  She declined to take the offer, and unfortunately proceeded to take a different route including submitting a dispute to the dealer board and the BBB. We have made every attempt to rectify the situation.  If there are any further questions you may reach me via email at *********************************************** or at the store at **************.

    Kind Regards,
