      we keep receiving repeated solicitations and we have repeatedly asked this business to STOP CONTACTING US through mail sent to our home. please remove our address PERMANENTLY from your database!also, this business should put a direct email and direct phone number in their junk mail so people can easily opt out of all this unwanted solicitations!

      I don't see you in our database, not sure if you have the wrong company. We don't do email marketing for purchasing homes, we only email people who have contacted us previously and you aren't in our database. However, I submitted your address information to our direct mail company just to make sure you never receive mail from us. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Please be advised that we have mail sitting in post office warehouses that are already midstream and you might receive 1 or 2 other letters in the next 60 days that is beyond our ability to stop. After that, you should receive nothing else.

      I have requested my father to be removed from the paper mailing list, as he passed away in 2020, and the house was sold a year ago. But they continue to send me mail, which only serves to remind me each time that my father is dead. It seems others have complained about this too. Please remove my address and all names at this address from your list! And please make it easier for people to opt out of paper mail. As someone else said, we shouldn't have to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to be removed. House Buyers of America should keep their records up to date.

      Sorry to hear about your loss, we mail millions of people each year, we had no idea the owner of the property had passed away. We'll remove you from our mailing list immediately! Please allow for up to 60 days for any mail in progress to clear the mail stream. After that, nothing else should be sent.

      This business has been harassing and abusing me and countless others into selling our homes. They have somehow got a hold of my personal information and have been sending me unwanted spam mail to sell my home. We are exhausted from these companies that are very aggressive in their marketing tactics. Companies like this should be charged with theft of personal information without consent and unethical marketing. I also demand they delete all my and everyone else's personal data from their database. These companies need to be shut down. They are evil.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      It is not satisfactory. They will continue to to do what they are doing to the countless others unless the government stops them. They have to be stopped from harassing people. There are thousands of evil companies like this spamming people through mail and phone and pressuring us into selling our homes using unethical tactics. They must be fined and forced to cease. I  doing that. I am not the only one bothered by them. Leave us alone!

      *** - I just got off the phone with you and wanted to follow up in writing. You explained that you're getting phone calls from "many home buying companies around the country" and I assured you that we do NOT do any telemarketing. We do send out direct mail and I immediately removed you from our mailing list. It might take up to 90 days for existing mail to clear the mail stream as there are letters already in the mail stream or sitting in bulk processing facilities. But certainly after 90 days you shouldn't receive anything. Thanks for your patience.

      Call from House buyers of america in violation of do not call list.

      *****, unfortunately I think you have the wrong company, our staff doesn't make any unsolicited calls, we only call people who have contacted us with interest in selling their homes. I just checked our database to see if you were in there, your name doesn't exist. There are a lot of companies who buy houses who do telemarketing, perhaps your confusing us with one of them.

      My complaint cannot be contained to this section.Highlight of the issue -House Buyers of America refuse to answer if they are going to continue to purchase my home or if they are trying to back out of the contract. The issue is that they want me to "Buy Out" Solar Panels that are on the house out of the proceeds from the sale of my home. Please note - there is NO Mention in the contract about having to buy out these panels.I am currently under contract to purchase another home and I do not have the funds to purchase those panels and an answer must be given by tomorrow 11/9 if I am moving forward in the contract on the new house.House Buyers are refusing to answer if they are or are not going to continue in the contract to purchase my home and I am about to lose my good faith monies placed on the other home.

      ***** - yes, we are working hard to close this transaction on 12/1/21 per your request. *** and **** from our office have been in contact with you almost daily and they are working hard, along with our title company, to get this transaction closed in the most expeditious manner. I understand the confusion about the solar panels, per the contract any liens or leases must be paid off to get free and clear title on the property. My apologies if we didn't make that abundantly clear at the beginning of the process.

      I saw tv advertisement for House Buyers of America and called for bid on my house informing them there was a model home in Virginia I wanted to buy but needed to sell my home. After several days I spoke with person who took my info and said he'd be in touch with me the next day with offer. After a week and aempting to reach the rep, he emailed me and said he'd call me back. Its been over a month and I've called the main # more than once and no followup. They are false advertising and I lost opportunity to get the house! They advertise we buy your house within 3 days. They haven't call me since they took my info nor responded to my many followup calls. I would appreciate a call back from them with offer and explanation as to why I haven't heard anything! I the house we were trying to buy was contingent on my selling my home and they knew this! Very upsetting

      As I have mentioned before, there was absolutely no offer made to me in over 30 days and this company advertises on television a response in a day! There was no delay on my part! I called, emailed and text the representative *******************. He did not respond to me until after the Better Business Bureau contacted his company, House Buyers of America, more than 30 days of not hearing from them and losing an opportunity to sell my house in order to buy one that was available when I first contacted House Buyers of America. Since your contact (BBB) with House Buyers of America, their representative, *******************, whom I asked not to contact me after he lied and said to you and me that he gave me an offer and we had personally talked before I filed the complaint. I have since spoken to House Buyers management and informed them of the unethical practice of *******************.  He has called me since Ii've responded to BBB advising he'd never talked to me in over 30 days from initial request for appraisal on my house and now he dares to call and text me and asking why I filed a second complaint with BBB? This is harassment!   They record their calls at this company and I know if they go back and listen to ***** ****'s calls or anyone else at House Buyers of America, you won't find any offers made to me before I filed the Better Business Bureau complaint. I resent the fact that whoever is responding to this message is not accepting responsibility for their false advertisement and lies that were made by a representative of their company, *******************.
