I purchased my car on August 15th, 2024 with Koons Jeep, and I still have not received any update from the tag office at Koons Jeep. My temporary tag is about to expired and I need Better Business Bureau to protect my right and assist me to get what I need. I don't want to get any penalty with police officer and DMV.

BAIT AND SWITCH This dealership let us test drive a new Jeep, sold us the Jeep, then at the last minute, switched out another one with a few hundred miles without saying a WORD. Of course this thing rattled and had issues the entire way home.On top of that, 6 hours of games and being lied tonever should buying a car take that long or be that painful of an experience.AVOID KOONS TYSONS JEEP CHRYSLER DODGE ON CHAINBRIDGE RD!

I purchased a Jeep wrangler from this location in February. Within a week of purchasing the car it wouldnt start and I had to tow the vehicle from ******** to Virginia. When it arrived to the dealership and a diagnostic was performed it showed that the main and auxiliary batteries failed. Once that issue got resolved in April while driving back from a trip the engine light came on and I took it to the dealership. They conducted a pre-diagnostic on the car and found out that the crankshaft were totally worn and damaged. I decided that I wanted to trade in the car. After selecting the car I wanted they showed me the trade in details and it showed that they valued my car way below what I bought it for a month ago. This means I would have to pay for the new car and still pay over $20,000 for the old car. I spoke with the sales manager about this issue and he demonstrated a nonchalant attitude because he stated that the deal for the wrangler has already been completed so he did not care about the issues that I was facing with the car.

The past three years have been an absolute nightmare with my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee which I purchased brand new from Koons dealership in Vienna Virginia. For the most part up until 2020 the customer service has gone down hill specifically with the service center. My truck intermittently refuses to start and this has been an ongoing issue since the fall of 2020. I’ve sent this vehicle to this dealership 8 times to try and resolve the problem but to no avail. They have always seemingly fixed something else that has nothing to do with the starting issue. They have even called for help from Stellantis engineers on numerous occasions and still no resolution. I have already spend thousands of dollars and countless hours away from my truck and all everyone that works there can tell me is that they don’t know what to do. But then what made it worse was the last time they had my truck, I went to pick it up and it was damaged! It was worse then the way I had brought it to them. The front right trim clip, broken. The front right bumper, now has a gap between the front right quarter panel and the bumper. The front right taillight is also out. Then they had the nerve to tell me that I would have to pay for the replacement bulb witch was $660. All the while they had driven my truck 316 miles while they had it. They even gave me the truck back dirty and with no gas in it. I will never do business with this dealer ever again. You have lost a trusted customer!

Beware this location for service. They do not communicate when promised, do not admit to mistakes, and cannot be trusted to stand behind their products (they do offer a limited warranty for the parts, but their work is what you should pay attention to/ be worried about). Brought in 2022 minivan because the AC in back stopped working (front was cold as ice,) and we paid their diagnostic fee and replacement of assembly. We get the car back and when we turn on the car it starts making a very loud clicking noise...we asked if the vehicle was safe to drive (mostly electronics stuff) and were given general indifference and told that they would take a look at it the next day. We handed the keys that same day, and one of the service guys took the keys--the manager had left. When I described the sound and issue, he asked if we had our AC had been worked on and described an actuator. We asked that they please let us know about when they could have the car done...and that we were just asking so we could plan appointments accordingly. We called at 9am the next day and were told that they were "working on it," Again, I asked if they knew about when it would be fixed....and to please let us know as soon as possible if it would not be ready by 3pm. Having received no calls, we called again at 12:48pm and were told that the noise was in the dash and not related to the AC they worked on and that they had not looked...as they would've needed my authorization to pay for them to "diagnose" and "repair" the issue we didnt have when we brought the car in. We agreed to, and did pay for the additional diagnostic and repair (all in total ~$2K), as we believe we'd had no choice in the matter. [Not mentioning lack of transparency and communication resulting in two days burned wanting an ac in back fixed]. I can not warn you enough about these charlatans. We were told that we were paying for diagnoses and repair, and their so-called multi-point inspections.
