I purchased a 2021 Dodge Durango from this dealership in May of 2023. The vehicle was a dealer loaner car with very low mileage 14k. I purchased the vehicle with the remaining factory warranty, maintenance plan, as well as an extended warranty. Fast forward to September and I take my vehicle in for its first oil change and I am told by Safford Dodge of Winchester that all 4 of my rotors are bad. I was shocked, I have only driven the SUV 5k miles. Needless to say I tried to use my maintenance plan to cover the rotor and brake replacement. I was denied because the pad life wasn’t low but the rotors were bad and they need to be replaced together. They told me it looks as though new pads were thrown on over bad rotors. As soon as I heard this I reached out to Koons to speak with the Used Car Manager. He told me he was going to look into it and I never received a call back. I just spend 35k on an SUV that was sold to me with 4 bad rotors!!! I would not recommend purchasing a car from this dealership and would highly suggest you have an independent party look at the vehicle first. Now, I have to shell out 1,500 for new pads and rotors. Koons of Tyson’s Corner inspected and sold me a vehicle that clearly had brake issues.

My husband took his truck here last Monday to be inspected and to have the rear passenger door latch fixed. We were anticipating picking it up later that evening, but nope.... They kept it and didn't even call to make sure that was okay. He got a text. Thankfully we were off work and could be without a second vehicle. On Wednesday, he got a call saying the car had failed inspection because of a tint on the windshield. We most certainly didn't add any tint, so how it is now is how we bought it... FROM THEM. We were assured when we bought it that it had been given a full safety inspection, but now it won't pass said inspection?? This is where the runaround began. Yes, this past weekend was New Years, so they were closed Sunday, but were open the other days, and we couldn't get anyone to call us back/give us an answer. We didn't want to pay to have the tint removed and shouldn't have had to! On Monday (a full week after dropping it off), we spent an exhausting day calling them, expressing our frustrating and being told they'd "call us back", which they would never do. One service advisor suggested speaking with a sales manager to see if they could help. This guy gave me attitude, didn't seem to understand what I was saying, and eventually said he would talk to service and see what they could work out.... And of course, would call me back (yeah right.) Finally, after reaching our capacity for dealing with this people, we paid online and my husband called saying we wanted to pick it up late that night after we returned home. The receptionist in service told him no for WHATEVER REASON, even though he had gotten a text days before saying it was done/ready to be picked up. I called one final time today to see if I could speak to the original service advisor who was helping us, left him a message and never heard back. We picked up the truck and will absolutely never go back there again. We don't care if we have to go somewhere totally out of the way.

I flew in from Ohio to buy a rare manual Audi. Drove it 8 hours home to find a puddle of oil under it later that night. I found the service tech that did the oil change did not put a crush washer on the oil drain plug and it was a literal slow drip of oil out of the drain plug. Ruining the undertray and getting oil all over the bottom of the car. After discovering this the car still said the oil level was too high. I suspect the service tech was aware of the leak and overfilled the oil to cover it up. Also $900 for dealer fees to take care of plates.. 2 months later and still no plates, if I had known the dealership creates a backlog at the DMV and not able to expedite the process I would've rather taken care of it myself. I've gotten plates from dealerships in 3 weeks that I paid $300 in fees.

Purchased a car in April 2022, Dodge Dart 2015, with limited warranty and car has been acting up every since. Car has been serviced by 3 Certified Dodge Dealerships and all 3 state the cars subframe has been replaced with a SALVAGED UNIT and that's why the car is having issues. They also stated that the car had been in a really bad accident. They also stated that Koons Tysons Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram had to be aware of this prior to selling the vehicle. This was not disclose to me. Koons stated in writing that they had done a thorough inspection on the car so how could they not know about the accident or the subframe replacement. Engine mounts have been changed 3 times in the last 60 days. Koons Tyson Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram literally has not talked to me one time and I have left over 10 messages. I literally dropped the car off this morning and by 4pm they called and told me to ,"Please come pick up your car we can not assist you and further", we can not do anything else for you". Why can't you just do the right thing and fix the car? Car is still running rough, making noises and movement in the engine. I even asked, "you have the car so what if I just pay for it, it needs to be fixed" and they still stated they can not help me any further" Really? They sold me this car knowing it had been in a severe accident. What kind of business, mechanic, repair shop or dealership tells a customer "No" we can not help you especially when the customer is offering to pay. Terrible Customer Service, Lies ,FRAUD and Deceit. Stay Away. As a female, I was a fool to think that buying a car from the dealer would be better than buying from somewhere else. Please do your homework on this dealership. If they did it to me than they did it to others and still probably being fraudulent. Don't trust them or anything they say. Salvaged Subframe used to replace the subframe on my car and they claim not to known this. Car been a bad accident and they claim not to have known. FRAUD
