    B&G Home Improvement, Inc. started a job in my home the Summer of ***** After a few months, they began to send past due reminders, but the job was not complete. They began to work again at the start of 2020, just prior to COVID. I was provided with contractors that knowingly came sick to my home and contractors that would leave during the job to attend court. Once COVID started, the contractors would occasionally call to say that due to safety they would like to avoid working in the home with people, and they were unsure of when they would return as they had been working in homes with no one present. Our home had 2 adults and 4 children due to stay at home COVID mandates. When they left, they left wood baseboards and other supplies/materials needed to finish the job. Since ***** and now heading into 2024, B&G has been consistently harassing my family and demanding payment through bright orange letters in the mail and emails for a job that was never finished. I have advised B&G on several occasions via voice and email that the job was not complete, and per the original contract, final payment is not due until the job is done. On November 28, 2023, I received an email from the **** asking to meet on December 1st or 8th at approximately 0800. On November 29, 2023, ******* *********** sent an email to a separate email thread that was a "demand for payment" requesting a response to the Owner's other email sent the day prior. I responded on November 29th to the original email sent from **** advising that I would be available for pickup of the supplies/materials on December 8th and that I did not wish to further do business with their company. I sent a follow-up on December 5, 2023 requesting confirmation to avoid missing work and school, and I have not received a response since approximately 7 days ago when I provided my availability. I have been unable to use a portion of my home for several years due to an incomplete job and storage of construction materials.
