12/16/2024 per email I got a price quote for a building & installtion Total ********** $******** Down payment $********* due upon installation. On 12/31 I emailed **** ******** with multiple concerns. I asked could i just pay for the mechanical drawing plans **** per itemized sheet, because i would need to turn them into the city building dept. for appoval. He replied per email that i must pay entire deposit and sign contract, to be able to get the drawings and that if for some reason the city did not approve the builing, my deposit would be refunded. On Jan 6 2025 I paid deposit by Visa card. On 1/7/25 I received plans and submitted them to the city. On 1/16/2025 I was told per email the metal building would not be allowed due to zoning restrictions. On 1/21/25 I forwarded the denial email from thr city to **** and requested refund of deposit. since then i have left numerous voicemails and emails and have gotten no response. On 1/23/25 I called costomer service spoke with ********* ***** and explained the situation, he said he would look into it and send me his email so i could send copies of emails with **** regarding refund, i indeed emailed the email screen shots to him. Ive tried multiple times to contact him, but he is now not responding. They appear to be scammers vs a legit business, so much that I have filed a a fraudulent complaint with my credit card company. Also in fear of being charged any future amounts from them, Ive terminated that credit account.

Good day. I have reviewed the customers complaint and he is absolutely correct in that his rep, ***** did tell him if his permits were denied we would refund his deposit. I have spoken with **** and explained that he should have returned the customers call in a timely manner and he should have requested the refund imediately. All of this would have been avoded had **** followed company policy. I apologize for the inconvenience this delay caused our customer.

We contacted the customer this morning regarding his refund and he has disputed his charge with his bank which means we cannot issue a refund because his bank has already removed the funds from our account. We instructed the customer to check his account for the funds and to contact his bank if they have not been returned yet. It can take up to 10 days for the funds to disperse.

As a company, customer service is extremely important to us. We dropped the ball on this one and we are sorry. We will strive to do better moving forward.

I talked with **** ******* at powerbuilt steel buildings around 09/13/24. **** told me that I could order a garage and he thought they were 2 weeks or so out on delivery. He did clarify that I had to talk with the manufacturing guy to get an actual delivery date but it would be close to 2 weeks. I had to make a down payment to get a date. So believing 2 weeks was the window I paid the down payment and proceded to call the other dept. They did not get back to me for a week or so and when I finally got on the phone with them they informed me that it would be 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. I told them on that call that would not work and they said I had to call **** ******** back. I called him immediately on or around 9/16. I left him a message he did not respond for a week and I called customer service and shared my situation with the representative **** I think. He said he would contact **** ******** and let him know. I called multiple times after that and was ignored. I left multiple messages for ****. I sent an email from a different accound guessing that **** Had blocked me and got a response right away Oct 9th. saying he was on vacation and eh would get back to me. Since then I have heard nothing and no email responses I send them weekly. I call them weekly

I orders a metal shed on Dec. 14th 2021. I was told delivery would be approximately 6-8 weeks to be delivered. It's now been almost 6 months and I have not received my shed. I've contacted them several times and no one has returned calls or emails. When I call and talk to my salesman, He always says he will look into it and promises to get right back to me and he never does.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/06/02) */ We apologize for the inconvenience the customer has experienced due to the delay in delivery. As stated during the purchase and in the past sale email sent to the customer, delivery time frame does not start until the site picture is sent into the manufacturuing plant. Per our notes: L By ****** ******* Site Picture sent to ******** to mark the order as ready for installation. Mar 15, 2022, 12:04 PM The customers site picture was not sent in until March 15th.That is when the 6-8 week time frame begins. Yes, we are running a bit behind but not 6 months behind. I am checking on the status of his order ow and will be contacting thew customer shortly with an update on the delivery schedule for his unit. It is our goal to delivery his building as soon as possible. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/06/03) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I have a copy of the text I sent on Jan.6th 2022 showing the foundation. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/06/09) */ I do not have a text from the customer regarding his foundation. I do not know if the text was sent to an incorrect number or to the wrong recipient but I certainly apologize that we did not receive it. Our notes as well as the manufacturers notes state the site pictures were received March 15th. We will continue to do everything possible to expedite the delivery of his building. Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2022/06/10) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I sent a screenshot of the text I sent on Jan 6th. We communicated using that number many times, I'm very upset that they continue to stand by their statement about when they received proof of the foundation. I would like to see the text or email that they said they received on march 15th. I have visual proof that they received the picture on Jan. 6th. I hope that someone would look into this further. Thank You. ***** ****** Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2022/06/13) */ Again, I am very sorry for the delay in the delivery. We are a dealer which means we are responsible for taking the deposit and placing the order for the customer. Once we have done that we send the order to the manufacturing plant, ******** ******** **** They are the one's who assemble, deliver, and install the building. They state their notes give a March date for the drawings. I apologize if they have it incorrect. I will reach out to them again to let them know when you actually sent the drawings in. They are doing everything possible to get yopu delivered and it should be soon. You are welcome to reach out to them directly through the *** or by calling them at X-XXX-XXX-XXXX. Again we apologize for your delay and inconvenience. Consumer Response /* (2000, 15, 2022/06/14) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) two days after the *** contacted me they called and scheduled delivery, The showed up when promised and installed the shed, I'm very pleased with the final product, The installers were professional.

My husband ***** ****** and I ordered a ******** ********* **** RV carport on November 16, 2021 from Powerbuilt Steel Buildings Inc. When the carport was installed January 24, 2022, it was missing two panels on each side. The day of installation ***** called **** ************* the salesman regarding the problem and sent him photographs. Mr. ************ said the situation would be corrected. There has been many, many calls and emails to Mr. ************* ********* ****** and ********* ******. Absolutely no information has been shared other than they are working on it when they bother to return a call or an email. We would like the missing panels installed so the cover is as ordered. The invoice/order number is either XXXXXX or ****** (it is not clear). Can the *** Team intervene on our behalf? Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide. Thank you. ****** ******

In March 2022 I contracted with powerbuilt steel for a garage building. I was told repeatedly by Phillip with powerbuilt that after I paid the deposit of ***** that I would receive drawings I could take to an engineering firm for a foundation design within 7 to 10 days. Powerbuilt contracted with ******** *** in Gallup NM. After a month of calls to both powerbuilt and ******** *** I was told they are working on them. ******** *** told me they had mailed them to me. Nothing ever arrived. After another call to ******** *** I was told they could email them an I agreed. I received some generic drawings for an unrelated car port. ******** *** indicated that I would need to pay more money to get the drawings contracted with powerbuilt. ******** *** does not seem to understand either intentionally or unintentionally. It is clear to me that ******** **** is not going to be able to execute that work contracted with powerbuilt. I communicated with ******* with powerbuilt that they should cancel this contract and refund the deposit before either of us waste more time. It is in the best interest of powerbuilt and myself to simply cancel contract. Further legal action will cost both parties more than the contract amount.

    Business Response

    Date: 07/26/2022

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/05/16) */ We apologize for any inconvebience and confusion caused while ordering your building. We offer two types of drawings; generic(for free) and as built (paid for). The majority of our customers opt to try the free generic drawings firsat as they usually work for obtaining a permit. If they do not work then the customers move to the paid for drawings. We like for customers to try the generics first so they do not waste money on the as built paid for drawings if they are needed. I am very sorry this was not effectively communicated to the customer. If the customer no longer wisahes to proceed with his building purchase we are happy to refund his deposit. He may contact ********* in our customer service department at XXX-XXX-XXXX and request his refund.
