  I have put together a lot of furniture, but this was far and away the hardest. I don't have a drill, but you need one. The wood is not pre drilled. The quality and amount of work are not worth it. Shop elsewhere

  Stay away from Grain Wood Furniture. This family owned company is absolutely horrible. I bought a complete furniture set from them in October of 2023 so I fall within the one year warranty that is promised on their website but this is a lie and a way to get people to purchase their product. Believe me when I tell you that they will not help you it’s like they don’t care whatsoever. I work hard for my money and for the wood to start to mess up within months is frustrating. When I reached out to report the issue KRISTI was very aggressive with her responses to me via email (I would hate to report this in person, there’s no telling what this woman would do smh). EVERYONE stay away from this company, you have been warned. There are disgusting and don’t care about people especially KRISTI.

  Zero stars. I ordered a nightstand from Grain Wood. As I assembled it, it became very clear that it was defective. The pieces didn't fit together properly and the drawers wouldn't fit into the night stand without significant effort. The tracks didn't line up. The quality of the materials is very very poor; the "walnut" finish appeared thick. dark and bubbled around the edges, as if they were sitting in a vat of stain for awhile. I contacted Grain Wood immediately and was told that they do not accept returns or issue refunds. Buyer beware! All their positive reviews must be fake because it's hard to believe that my defective nightstand was an anomaly.

  My entire experience with Grain Wood Furniture has been a nightmare. I ordered a closet in April and upon assembling the closet I noticed that one of the side panels was used and scratched in multiple spots, the pegs for the shelf were not level, and there was an issue with the bottom drawer. I reached out to Grain Wood and they informed me that they could send me replacement parts. Upon receiving the replacement I noticed that one of the side panels differed from the original. Turns out they sent me 2 right-side panels for 2 different closets. I reach back out to Grain Wood again and they ship out the correct part. The panel arrives, however, it arrives with no padding. As a result, it arrives with a big dent in it. I reach back out again expressing my frustration and disappointment so far. Grain Wood then requested that I go out of my way to donate the furniture to a local non-profit, take a picture of the furniture at the donation site, and provide them with a copy of the donation receipt in order to get a refund. This request is absurd. There is no way I’m fitting a closet in my car and hauling it over to a donation site and after the experience I’ve had so far, I don’t trust anything they say. Nowhere in the return policy does it state that a donation is required to receive a refund. A “customer service manager” responded to my message the next day and said that my item was not eligible for return, donation was the only way to get a refund. I reach out to ****** and they say I am entitled to a refund under their A-Z Guarantee. I am then told it can take up to 2 weeks for a a-z claim to be reviewed and a decision to be made. ****** refunds me my money the very next day. Grain Wood looked reputable and like they sold a quality product when I first saw them on ********** But that was a complete lie. Awful customer service, poor quality, and just a complete lack of regard or care for their mishandling of this situation. Stay far away from this company.

  I'd put zero if possible. This company claims they are small and do their best to address customer concerns in less than 24 hours. This is absolutely NOT true. I've been trying to contact them for six days and have been unsuccessful. There is no phone number on the website, which violates the law. Furthermore, the phone number they provided **** is bogus, another violation of law. Because I had placed a previous order with them, they automatically charged my **** without asking what payment option I wanted. I did not want this purchase on my ***** I'd consider this using my card without authorization (theft). FURTHERMORE, the order was shipped nonetheless in all the wrong colors. I selected white to match my previous order, and they sent a black dresser and a grey nightstand. **** LOUSY customer service. It sucks for me b/c now I will not have matching furniture in my bedroom.

  We ordered 3 pieces, supposed to come in 4 boxes. 3 Boxes arrived ALL wrong color. No one answers their phone numbers or your support email, everything is multiple days to respond on the messages. Have been calling and emailing all day and no response - this is Horrible Customer Service - all emails come from ZenDesk, not sure who is not answering the phones. Need return labels and they are not responsive.

  Buyer beware. Wood grain furniture uses third party vendors (******** and overcharges by hundreds of dollars. I purchased a dresser on the biggest sale of the year. The vendor themselves base price for this item is listed $*** less on their mail website. A big leap in price. Shady business practices. Will not touch this brand with a 10 ft pole again.

  The walnut color that I received is a horrid yellow. I am so incredibly disappointed. It’s clear they only post the reviews that they want on their site. No wonder they have “thousands” of good reviews. Either send me the correct color or refund the FULL amount. I’ll be getting a refund either way because I’m contacting my credit card company so you choose if you want to work with me or a charge back.

  I ordered a dresser and two night stands from Grain Wood. They arrived promptly and were not that difficult to assemble. They are indeed solid wood. Just what I was looking for.

  The bed I ordered seems like it won't have any trouble holding me up but the overall laziness and carelessness of this company makes me wish I never supported them as a customer. They definitely don't care about repeats.
