In August 22, 2022 a gas station attendant called a tow truck after calling the police complaining I looked tired and prepared to tow my car. The tow truck arrived before the police came. My 2008 kia ****** was towed by Aarons towing and within four days the bill was over ***** dollars. I was not able to get the car out because I was incarcerated for 6 months. In 2022 Aarons towing filed a mechanics lien on my Kia ******. I called Aarons several times asking them to sign off on the mechanics lien if I sign the title but they want money for the car. I obviously am not paying on a car that has a bill over a ***** and has been sitting there over a long period of time. They will not sign off on the mechanics lien if I sign off on the title.

9/20/2021, ***************************** with Aarons Towing has taken advantage of me the consumer, in the following manner: Fauquier County, Code of Ordinances, Chapter 13, Motor Vehicles and Traffic ************* Enforcement Requested Towing *****, (5)(f)(h). ******** purposely tried to delay me by not providing me with the proper address to retrieve my car. Once at the storage lot, I waited for him until 4:40 pm. He mentioned I would only be charged a gate fee if I came to pick up the vehicle after business hours. He asked who would be driving the car. I mentioned that I had contacted my insurance company and they would be sending a tow company within their network. His demeaner instantly changed when he realized his company would not get additional business from towing the vehicle to my home and instantly became impatient stating it was 5 and he was off for the day. This is clearly a violation of ***** (d) since he became aggressive and authoritative by ordering me off the property and tried to bully and intimidate me into using his towing service. ******** also violated section ***** Responsibilities and Records of authorized towers and sheriffs Office since he refused to release my vehicle to me. He also charged me two gate fees which also violated ***** since I arrived prior to 5 pm. He violated section ***** Compensation to authorized towers (b) by charging me 2 days of storage. My vehicle was stored approximately 28 hours. ******** charged me for services not rendered, including an admin fee and additional 1% credit card fee which violates ******** code 46.2-118 B. 11. No written notices of Aarons fees were available so I couldn't compare it to fees by local towers. I arrived as agreed upon with ****************, made honest and direct efforts to retrieve my car but was continuously thwarted. I would like a refund for two gate fees ($130), one storage fee ($75), a $95 administrative fee, credit card fee ($29.20), and fair towing price based on local towers.
