Date of transaction: May 2023 Amount of the transaction: $5,700.00 Business commitments: Provide me a 2013 ******* ******* GT and the Title Nature of the dispute: Woodbridge auto auction had sold me a 2013 ******* ******* GT which failed inspection for $5700. I spent about $1100 on parts only to have the vehicle up to run. Unfortunately, Woodbridge auto auction was unable to provide me with the title after three months. They then asked me to return the 2013 ******* gt for my refund. When I returned the vehicle on August 18, 2023, Woodbridge auto auction cut me a check of $5311.49 which they stopped payment on the same day forcing me to sign a paper where I will waive my right to sue them for the difference.1.Woodbridge auto auction contacted me, two days after I wrote a one star review on ******* to tell me they have $5,700 check on September 3rd 2023. I accepted to receive this partial payment which they mailed at my home address. However, I never received a penny for $1,100 part I spent on that car.2. They stated they were happy to reimburse my $1,100 for part. They never did it.3. There is not such law that tells Woodbridge Auto Auction to charge for mileage after the breach of contract for not fulfilling their part by not providing me with a title.4. I never received any type of invoice whatsoever in regard to the alleged 23cents per mile.5. After my post on ****** review, they removed the vehicle from their website which I still have the screenshot. Hopefully, they didn’t sell that same vehicle to another customer who may not receive a title and will be charged for mile when they return the car. Whether or not the business tried to resolve the issue: After I supplied all parts’ invoices, they never attempted to reimburse a penny of what I spent on parts. Moreover, I did not even request the labor fee. Account number: the vehicle stock number was ******. VIN# *****************

I bought a 2008 **** ******* from Woodbridge Auto Auction in May 2022 for $3400. They sold me a faulty car, as the transmission completely failed after only 3000 miles of driving. I offered to bring in this failed car and trade it in for another car of similar value. They refused, and said that the car's failure is my problem. But it is their problem, as they routinely sell faulty cars to unwitting customers in "as is" condition and do not care about how the cars perform after they have left their premises. This fraudulent company should be closed and run out of business because of their dishonest practices and flagrant disregard for customer satisfaction.

    Business Response

    Date: 08/24/2023

The customer bought a vehicle from us over one year ago, did not call us with any complaints.  made the purchase as is where is with no warranty expressed or implied. He called over a year later complaining about the transmission saying he lives somewhere in the Midwest and demanded another vehicle of equal value, I explained to him that as is where is means basically all sales are final.  He test drove the vehicle and I can’t and won’t fix a wear and tear item a year later.  Additionally I don’t know how he maintains his vehicle I offered to-help him repair it at a cheaper by saving him on labor in our shop but that’s off the table… cause he wanted the repair done for free which is not something that I am willing to do I understand how he feels, but he needs to understand when you purchased a used vehicle. It is your responsibility to maintain it, and not complain one year later to the people that sold it to you at a discounted rate, as is.

I just recently wrote to you all about a car I brought from them with a bad engine. And they let bring it back and gave me a 1000 dollars for my trade in to put to another car. My problem is this new car they sold me shouldn’t have passed inspection. And now I’m being hassled by they finance company while I’m trying to fix the problems that’s are wrong which includes anti lock brake system malfunction, can commute system, and valve cover gasket issues. They said they will fix it but I have to leave my car there for a week. I have a job and I live 3 hours away I can’t just leave my car without having another form of transportation. Please help me come up with a solution.
