I purchased a vehicle from the company on 7/15. I was given 30 day temporary tags from the dealer that would expire on 8/14. I bought it in Virginia, so I had to get my own vehicle inspection in Maryland since it was not inspected by Maryland standards. I did so on 8/8 and called the dealer to notify them of completion so I can receive my full Maryland License Plates. I was told they would be mailed to me then. I called again 8/14 for a status update, and was told that they were never sent and they would be sent out then. I exclaimed that my current temporary license plates were expired, and no remedy was mentioned. My car was towed on 8/20 for having an expired license plate (which cost me $315 to get back from the tow yard). My license plates were delayed since the dealer never sent them when I called on 8/8, and only sent them after I called again on 8/14. They claimed that they called and left me a voicemail on the 14th which is untrue, and because of this the expiration of my license plate, and towing/recovery of my vehicle was 100% my fault. I never received a voicemail from the dealer, and they failed to send them when requested the 1st time.Customer Answer

I purchased a 2010 ** ***** on July 15th from Wind Rider. 2 items were placed as IOU which were the Transaction System and ABS. I noticed during the test drive that there was a loud noise coming from the left front and was told it was ABS by the salesperson. I was made to take the car that day for some reason after giving them a $2500 deposit. Within a matter of days, I contacted the dealer with safety concerns. The rearview outside mirrors are not working, 2 front worn tires, the horn works intermittently, the parking brake doesn't engage, leaking tire valve, and discovered the right front rim was bent and labeled so inside the tire. I asked to return the car and get my money back. The sale manager promised to fix the items but provided no replacement car or credit while repairs would be made. I made the first car payment with this promise. The other day the battery died in the car after driving. Contacted the dealer who advised me to bring the car in. I did such and they replaced the battery and I urged them to fix other items. While there I asked about VA Tags for the car and was told there were title issues still being worked out. Currently on 2nd expiring temp tags. They are unsure when the title will be ready. The car currently still has issues with Brake System including parking, Horn, Rim, and Tire Value. The dealer is not trying to repair the items as I was told to repair half of them. I want them to take the car back as I was deceived by the purchase. Additionally evidence of damage that was repaired and not reported on the carfax.Business Response

On September 14, 2021 I financed a 2009 **** ******** ***** When I first purchased the vehicle I spoke with a sales manager by the name of ************************* that told me I can finance my car through the dealership; So I agreed. When I went to test drive the vehicle the battery died on me and along with that I was told by the sales person that the car had other problems that was supposed to be fixed before I picked my car up for final purchase. The contract that I have which is supposed to be my warranty it says "that my warranty is supposed to be for 12month/12,000 miles". not even having the vehicle for 1 week the check engine light came on I reached out to the dealership and I told them about the problem and 2 days later the light went back off I was told by the dealership if the light comes back on to bring my vehicle back to the dealership so it can be looked at and the problem could be fixed. I was also told that I could go to a advanced auto to get my car put on a scanner to get checked for free and I was told that it had 2 emissions codes on it so I dropped my car off to the dealership and it was there for 3-4 days I wasn't getting a response so I called to check on the car the dealership told me the car was fixed and to come pick up my vehicle but only to find out not even a month later the vehicle was never fixed and I had to come out of pocket to take my vehicle somewhere else to get a part put on the vehicle. On May 12th, 2022 I went to the ************************** dealership to get and oil change and I was told that my vehicle needed a V-Ribbed Belt and 2 Pullies which came up to $850.12. I contacted Wind Rider Auto Outlet and I was told from the sales manager I could have taken my car somewhere cheaper. On September 1, 2022 I went back to the ******** dealership just to find out from them that I need $9,500 of work done so I contacted Wind Rider and they are not trying to honor my warranty I have been calling for almost 2 weeks with no response.Business Response
