    I called Just Plumbing on July 25th for an estimate on some plumbing work in my apartment. I was told one of their employees was on site and the employee would come to take a look at the job and provide an estimate. The employee arrived shortly and looked at the bathroom where I wanted two faucets and a shower unit replaced with new equipment I would provide. The employee told me that I would shortly receive an estimate for the work. I did get an estimate the next day, but I thought the cost was too high for the work involved and chose another contractor. The second contractor did the job for less than half the Just Plumbing estimated cost. Today I received a text message informing me that I owed Just Plumbing the sum of ****  The bill does not list this as a charge for an estimate and at no time during my discussion with any Just Plumbing employee was a charge for an estimate mentioned. In addition the bill divides the cost into two separate charges, one for *** and one for *** with no explanation of what the charges are for. I believe it is a very poor business practice for a company to bill a customer for a charge or service fir which the cost was not plainly stated before beginning the work.

    Just Plumbing installed and charged for a previously used water cutoff valve as if it was new. A new water cutoff valve was suppose to have been installed. I can not recommend Just Plumbing to other households in the Yorktown, Williamsburg and NewTown areas.
