I originally started with Dr. ***** for digital dentures with implants. I ended up with starter/basic dentures. While I was able to get a refund, I was told by Dr. ***** that he would forward my records to a dentist of my choosing as he was separating from Affordable Dentures in Burlington, VT. Jan. 2023. I provided my dentists physical address and phone number as well as his email address over the phone, in repeated emails and by certified mail. Ive heard nothing from Dr. ***** and the records were never sent. Without those records I will have to start all over again which will be very expensive.Initial Complaint

On 6/10/21 my wife ********************************** had an appointment with Affordable dentures for extractions, impressions, temporary upper and lower plates, and permanent upper and lower plates for $4330. Chart #******. On 7/2/21 down payment of $2400 was made, they did extractions and impressions. Returned on 7/27/21 for temporary lower and upper plates. also paided remaining $1930, refunded $410 for over estimation. My wife was told it would take a year for swelling, etc before permanent plates could be done. we tried to call July thru December, with no response. My wife passed away in December. I have called them in January and Febuary, left messages, no response, in March I tried to find a web site but notice that it says office is permanent closed.Initial Complaint

Sept 13,2022. I went to Affordable Dentures to get my impressions made. It took so long to get to the second fitting and then the third that ***************************** said I could get a refund if I didnt want to wait. So on November 30 th she issued me a refund of $1,950. It never came. *** left voicemails (because they never answer) 3 times. Ive even sent emails but nothing. I called my bank twice but *** said there is nothing from them. I even went to the bank personally and the woman looked at my account and nothing. I want the refund she promised. I even have the email she sent to prove it.Customer Answer

I purchased and paid in full for my Dentures on 08/04/2022 and had impressions made that day and was to receive my permanent dentures in 4 to 6 weeks . It is now 11/20/2022 and I still have not received my Dentures nor can I get an update or even get the company on the phone. I have left numerous (daily) v-mails and have yet to receive a callback . I have also sent numerous emails and have not had a return email. I have driven to the office on multiple occasions and have yet to find the office open. They have a voicemail with a long speech about being short staffed and I am sympathetic to that but regardless . I need my teeth . Please check into this . All I want is my dentures so I can eat solid food. The patient in question was informed at day of payment that we have a 6 week wait for cases to be started, not delivered. We had attempted to contact him repeatedly via phone but would never get an answer and the number had a full voicemail box so no message could be left. He leaves upset voicemails and then doesnt answer when we try to call him back, which inevitably leads to another upset voicemail for supposedly not receiving a return call. Upon receiving another one of these voicemails today, my receptionist asked if she could email him (something I normally decline due to potential privacy violations). I checked with her once seeing this email and she confirmed that he is scheduled for his next appointment on December 1st. That appointment was made prior to seeing this complaint, so I will be contacting him tomorrow to set expectations on proper communication prior to agreeing to keep his appointment spot. He will be offered a full refund like any of our patients is entitled to if an agreement on communication cannot be made.Customer Answer

I went to have my new dentures - top & botton The made the mole of my mouth. but didnt do it Right had to go back to do a new one 4 wk later - I call to see what was going on? Day my dentures were in The gril said I didn**;t need Implant**;s. I Paid the $2400.00 And she said I didn**;t need the inplant? I ask her why! The dentist said needed the to hold the theet in. she said I most of misunderstood him? I sad no i did Not. It**;s a $2,000 difference!! She call her Supervisor. And she said I NO Longer a Patient!! And will Refund my money back! I ask her why? She said -- That she felt that I didn**;t have the competence in them! So they were not go to acept me. I only Asked a Questional? How come I didn**;t need the 2 inplant? She didnt want to hear anythign MORE Just my c. card#. And was very cool. So it was 1 mo I wanted to get my theet down. And I now looking for a new Dentist? I did get my money back! I was not happy with the way they did things! in stort. He said I needed 2 implant**;s to help Hold in implent**;s in! Which makes sense! The receptionist said I didn**;t?? That**;s a big $ difference!! And a mouth later I am looking for a new Dentints! All that time Wasted. And There Short handed!! I sick of hereing that! Stop tacking New patients!!
