Paid $1,300 in December 2020 for 12 month membership to dating club. Normally events are in-person but I told them I would not be attending in person until a vaccine was available. They stated they had lots of virtual events & the first one I should attend was an icebreaker in Jan. **** Jan calendar of events was released there was no virtual icebreaker. I complained & they assured me there would be one in Feb. I told them I would start my membership at that time (when a virtual icebreaker was available). **** the February calendar was released there was no virtual icebreaker on the schedule. I complained again and they promised there would be one in March. Again, there was not one on Marchs schedule. I complained again & they stopped responding to my messages. I emailed and called many times to no avail. Then I disputed the credit card charge & won. The credit card refunded my money. Now I am getting emails from them saying my account is past due & they are sending me to collections.

****************** signed up with our ******* club on 12/21/2020 for a 12 month membership access and paid in full. We have been offering virtual and in person events in every city since the pandemic began, although we had some restrictions on in person events over the first few months. We have still been providing virtual events to our members each month- we have at least one every day. We did have an ice breaker in January, however we did not have a virtual ice breaker. Our agreement states we are to provide at least 15 events each month within our service, we have continued to do so:
****************** filed a bank dispute on his down payment in March 2021 which was withdrawn from our accounts. We have been attempting to **** ****************** for this amount that is owed per his agreement.  We are more than willing to compromise with ******************, we understand he is upset there was not a specific event provided to him. We would like to offer ****************** a settlement on his remaining balance owed on the agreement for 50%. Please let us know if he would like to review this further.

I am rejecting this response because: The salesman I signed up with said the first event I should do was a virtual Ice Breaker. There was not one in January like he promised. He then promised me he would make sure there was one in February. Not only was there not one in February, there hasnt been one since and he hasnt returned my emails or calls since January (see attached). I made every attempt to resolve this issue and had every intention of using the membership but E&A made ZERO attempts to rectify the problem and instead decided to ignore my pleas for help. I clearly stated in the email that I would start my membership when the virtual icebreaker was made available so I'm not going to pay 50% for something that was promised yet never made available. This whole thing has left a very bad taste in my mouth and I currently have a very poor opinion of E&A. The only way I would even consider paying 50% is if I was given access to a full year's membership starting from scratch.

      Sincerely,

      ***********************
