eFinancial keeps calling and leaving voicemails nearly everyday, if not twice a day, asking to talk about life insurance for several months. It's absolutely impossible, they will not stop calling!

This company keeps calling me and I have never asked for a quote from them, nor do I know who they are. They call about 20 times a day and this is ridiculous and I wish they would stop.

I had a life insurance policy approved through FidelityLife after medical review. After approximately 3 months into the policy I receive a call from a ***************************** (Lead Policy Issue Specialist) who stated that FidelityLife reviewed my medical (again) and is now requesting an increase of my monthly premium (about $55.00 more). ***** was ******* me to sign off on the increase or otherwise told me I'd have to call FidelityLife and cancel the policy with no other option. I asked for documentation regarding this supposed review (which I am still waiting for). I declined to sign anything and instead called FidelityLife directly. They stated there was no additional review performed, and that nothing about my coverage or monthly premium needed to change and I am in good standing on the policy. Either this 'specialist' is lying to try to get more money out of me, or is grossly misinformed. Either way, I await a response from this business and any kind of documentation to support their claim that I need to have my monthly premium increased. On the surface, this appears to be a sales tactic that should (if isn't already) be illegal. Will also be reporting this incident to my state consumer affairs department.

I can't get them to stop dialing me. They refuse to tell me how I can get off their dialing list. I don't want them to contact me. I originally sought them for information concerning a life insurance policy and now I no longer want to do business with them . I would like for them to get rid of any of my personally identifiable information related to me, and stop calling me.

I used eFinancial to shop and compare life insurances. ************************ (state licensed number *******) quoted me with a ************* 30 term life policy of $500,000 at $50 premium per month on 9/23/23. I went through the application and authorized this amount to be billed to my credit card. I was happy to find that I was approved two days later (9/25/23). The following Saturday (9/30/23) I received my policy in the mail from *************, stating that the monthly premium was $81.35, and that they had billed my account this amount a few days prior. I immediately reported this as fraud to my credit card company and tried called ************** for an explanation. I called eFinancial again to speak with a supervisor, and was told that a message would be left for one. She assured me that this would be handled urgently. Today (10/2/23), I reached out to fidelity life to formally cancel my policy to prevent further charges from occurring.

My name is ***************************. I recently applied for term life insurance. I was told by someone named *********************** that I was not approved for $500,000 term insurance but a $300,000 policy. I agreed to this but when I received my paperwork it was for an accident only policy. I immediately called to cancel and requested a refund. I was given the run around the first 5 times I called but was finally told by an agent that the issue would be resolved and I wouldnt have to call back. Not only did you all not issue a refund but you are still attempting to charge my account for the premium. Please cancel my policy and issue me a refund immediately.

I am rejecting this response because: the business was fraudulent and intentional in the actions. I called specifically for termed life insurance and when I was declined ******* signed me up for an accidental only policy pretending that it was still termed insurance but for a lesser amount. I spent so much time calling the company to cancel my policy and receive a refund. I wont be satisfied until ****** is fired.

      Sincerely,

      Hello,

In regards to the refund, I have attached the letter that was mailed to the clients home August 4th 2023. On the same day, We did process the initial payment not taken and refunded the $41.33 to the clients credit card.

Pertaining to the other complaint, upon review of sales call. We can confirm that the agent did disclose on the sales call that this was an accidental policy and the client provided their voice signature agreeing to the policy. We did speak with the sales manager of the agent and additional training was given to the agent as a result of this compliant. We do feel at this time termination of the agent is not justified.

If there are any additional questions please let me know

      Thank you so much!

The business lied when they stated I was advised that it was an accidental only policy. If they did this to me they are probably doing this to other people and need to be held accountable. They are nothing but a bunch of scammers.
