      I have been a customer of ******************************* since December of 2020 at which time I signed up for a 12 month contract. I was told there were no early termination fees at that time. This contract has automatically renewed annually. I sold my business on April 1, 2024 and when I contacted this company to cancel services and return their equipment, I was told they would charge me $1499.80 early cancellation fee. I was sent the letter of cancellation and have not signed it, yet they debited my account this morning for the fee. I forwarded a link to the HarborTouch website where they have a news article stating 12 month terms and No Early Termination Fees beginning in July of 2020. This is false advertising. An Early Cancellation Fee is the same as an Early Termination Fee. I want my $1499.80 returned to me.       I made a purchase at ***************** in ******* ******* for $1000. The credit card machine said that my transaction was denied twice. However my bank said that the first transaction for thousand dollars went through somebody had my thousand dollars and I want it.The credit card company reviews talk to me because I don't work for ************

      We started with Harbortouch for our new business and then they made some changes to their system, including changing the name to Shift 4 along with some changes and updates. Upon making the changes our system crashed which did not allow us to conduct our business properly. We called multiple times a day and sent repeated emails. All they would do is send us new equipment. We continued asking for a field technician to fix the problem and they refused. We lost more and more business due to not being able to use the system for nearly a month. We finally gave up and decided to seek a new pos system company so that we could continue business. When I discussed canceling with Harbortouch/Shift4 they immediately charged my account for all of the equipment ($1900) prior to having me sign the cancelation form. After a few months, they have continued to charge me and will continue to charge me through December, although they failed to provide the services required on their end of the contact. I have no issue paying for services provided. However, no person, business or company should have to deal with the harm this company causes. It is unethical for a company to take money out of any persons/businesses account without proper acknowledgement or invoice of such costs prior to the removal of funds. Please do better! I expect them to do their due diligence and respect clients expectations and finances.

      My restaurant was solicited by ****************** an employee of Harbortouch in October 2021 to sign up for their system using a $500 promotional fee as an incentive. After 90 days of service, you get $500 no questions asked. We opened in January of 2022. I have been calling and emailing this company since April to release the $500 promo fee. ****** is no where to be found and the reps insisted that ****** is the ONLY ONE in the entire company that can release our funds. We were given her supervisors info ****************. I sent my 8th and 9th email to ****** and received a form approving the $500 pay out in June of 2022. It is August and I still haven't received the promised promotional funds. Now I was told to reach out to ************************* and still nothing. I feel scammed and not valued as a customer. I would not have signed up without the promo deal as I was already with Clover. To make a false promise then give a full run around with very little to no communication back is disgusting. No one will return a call or personal email. I've sent 12!! I will be canceling them.
