I found a local business online in ******** that quoted me $800 to replace my cracked windshield, $100 less than what major companies were quoting. They assured me that they would warranty the work and calibrate the windshield. I decided to go for it.The first red flag came when the technician started removing the old glass. I received a message from the business asking me to sign a waiver. The waiver stated that they wouldnt calibrate the glass and that I would need to spend an additional $300 at a dealer-approved place for calibration. I refused to sign it.After the technician finished the job, I asked him to either calibrate the windshield as promised or offer a discount. This led to a quarrel, and I had to call the local police station because the technician blocked my van with his van. Before the police arrived, the technician reasoned with me that he was just doing his job and not making much money from this. I decided to cancel the police call and take the loss.I thought that would be the end of it, but less than two weeks after the installation, a crack appeared on the passenger side of the windshield, originating from where the glass meets the frame. There were no external causes for this damage.I contacted the business on Friday, October 18, to report the issue and sent them pictures of the damage. They said they would get an inspector to check it out and reach out to me. I called on Monday, October 21, and ******, the customer ********************** **** assured me they would get back to me soon. I called again on Tuesday, October 22, and ****** said she was talking to her boss and would call me back in five minutes. When I called on Wednesday, October 23, I was finally told that there was nothing they could do. There is no inspector to check the damage, and no coverage or warranty.Initial Complaint

On Monday, July 15, 2024, my husband and I requested service from Roadside Angel for a flat tire. We agreed to the price, $485, for a new tire and installation. The technician arrived around 9 PM to our apartments parking lot. He changed the tire, my husband was satisfied with his work. We went to bed. Around 3 AM on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, the new tire was flat. We filled it with air from our electric pumper, but it was quickly flat again. Around 3 PM that same day we called from the same number we originally requested service from and over and over got nobody on the phone. I called from my phone and immediately they answered. The man on the phone remembered who we were, but acted bothered by the situation. We asked them to come take a look, he said he would need to call the front office for permission and that he would get back to us. We waited, he never called back or showed up. On Friday, July 19, 2024, we took our car to a franchise tire shop where they told us that not only was the tire not able to be repaired, but that it was already patched improperly. We were forced to purchase another tire, but we do have the tire provided by Roadside Angel in our possession. I attempted to call Roadside Angel repeatedly this same day, but they would answer and hang up. Over and over. I could hear atmospheric noise and someone talking in the backgroundit was obvious it was intentional. We would like a full refund. We were more than willing to work it out with them had they corrected their work, but it seems they are not willing to compromise at any level.Initial Complaint

I spoke with ****** with Roadside Angel and arranged for them to bring a replacement windshield for my 2019 ***** Fit and come to my location to install it at an agreed time. They requested and received a $250 deposit from me to a PayPay account labeled *************** LLC. They confirmed this was the correct PayPal account, stating We are Doing business as Roadside Angel. They did not come at the agreed time. I have not received any merchandise or services from them. When I asked the person on the phone on 4/23/24 for a refund of the deposit they said they would have to ask a supervisor or someone else about it. When I subsequently texted to request a refund, my request was not acknowledged. I then sent them a PayPal request on 4/29/24 to have them send $250 back to me, but that remains pending as of today (5/4/24).Business Response

Alert! Alert! Alert! Do Not hire Angel Roadside service!!!If you see these numbers ***************** 823-2066, or **************...do not hire them. They will rip you off. if you see these names: Angel ********, the founder and technician of Roadside Angel , ***************************, the Regional Manager of Roadside Angel, and the Dispatcher ******, of Roadside Angel - Run, because they will rip you off.I wish I had read these reviews on Angel Roadside. I hired them on April 4th, 2024 to replace my driver side car window. Paid in cash-$450.00 dollars.Angel ********, the founder and technician comes out, he does not have the windowpane, someone delivers the window pane and that individual forgot to communicate with the warehouse to have the windowpane in a location to be picked up.April 5th, ******** comes out and does not have the correct window pane. He proceeds to tell me "He will leave the window installed until he can get the correct one and will be back the following day to install the correct one." Does not return the following day. I have to reach out to the dispatcher ****** who is not helpful at all and then there is the regional manager, ***************************. She informs me that they are working on finding my window pane but it has been a difficult process. I am finally told by ****** that they will reimbursed me my $450.00 dollars, but I will have to wait 5-7 business days. I asked the question " Why do I have to wait 5 to 7 business days to get reimbursed?" "It does not make any sense to me.Today, when I requested the address of Angel Roadside services, so that I could come have them remove their window and get my reimbursement-dispatcher ****** informs me that I have to go to *************, between 12pm and 1pm or ***********, after 7pm. When I pushed back on this Regional Manager *************************** sends this text to me:"Because I am becoming very irrational and inflexible in your acceptance of the refund and the return of the window.Because the nature of the business is a mobile service and you are demanding that you be served as soon as possible you were given the option to follow the technicians (*******, if the founder ******** is the technician that is coming out to service the job there is a good chance you have few technicians.) where they are working. (was he working in silver ****?) If you find it unacceptable to travel to where the technician is, there is nothing more we can do for you. From your actions and your threats you have forfeited your opportunity for the replacement and refund offered. No further action will commence on the part of Roadside Angel." *************************** Regional manager Roadside Angel, ******* Sincerely, *******************Business Response
