Me and my partner purchased a car from Legend Auto Sales located in *********, around March 4th. We got this car thinking it was the perfect family car for us. Mind you they were only welcoming to me and my partner because of when we showed up. After getting the 2020 ******* Aviator we were already having some issues with the car. I had texted one of the workers at Legend Auto Sales about the situation but all he said was to bring it in the next day but I wasnt able to, because of work. We have 6 people with only 2 cars to share to go to and from work. But during the past couple of days the ******* would randomly set the alarm off and the only way to shut it off is if we turn on the car for a while. But as we sleep it goes off again when we are all sleeping. I messaged Israel about the situation and also sent him a video of the screen on the car because it was glitching. He said that it was a electrical issue and I would have to take it to the ******* Dealership. I told him that I was unable to because of work and my daughter. Long story short they scammed me and my partner for our money because in the beginning i said I wanted to purchase my own car but they ended up adding me as my partners co-signer. This car has caused so many problems and almost got me and my daughter into a accident. So I want to sue them for the lack of support and the lack of communication.

This establishment takes advantage of young inexperienced buyers who have good credit but no valid drivers license. Unfortunately my daughter went alone on Friday evening 11/17/23 to this car lot to see what kind of cars she would be interested in for a future purchase. The sales rep *********************** mislead her by telling her that she did not need a valid driver's license to finance a car. The ********************** rep *********************** told her not to worry about the required insurance, the lot would cover the upfront insurance premium so that the finance company would fund the loan. The sales rep *********************** told her not to worry about the $1,300 monthly insurance cost because after the loan if funded the insurance is no longer a requirement and told her she could just cancel the policy. We contacted the manager of the lot on Saturday to voice the concern with them selling a car knowing the buyer did not have a license and getting full coverage insurance without a license would be financially impossible for someone making minimum wage. If she is not able to carry the required insurance the bank can add their own coverage, again making it impossible for her to actually make the monthly car payment. Typical car salesman answer, sorry she signed a contract. The loan was no funded until Tuesday, thay had options and chose to take advantage of her even after knowing how shady the deal was. At this point she is not left with too many options, most of which are going to ruin her credit that she worked so hard to establish. I am not sure how many 19 year olds can afford pay $1,750 a month for a car! I wouldn't be surprised if the credit card used to pay for the insurance was someone other than the salesperson's card. Unfortunately my daughter had no clue and thought this place was so great because they even helped her pay the insurance. Legend Auto sales of ****** definitely took advantage of her lack of car buying knowledge and should be ashamed!

On 3/20/23, I had vandalism damage to my car. I called my insurance company, and had it towed to Legend ************* (where I bought the car.) explained what had happened and expressed that my insurance company needs to be contacted for payment. I was told that I will need to put down a $1000 deposit. I told the associate that they will have to contact my insurance company for payment, but I will provide a "deposit". I was given a 2-week timeline as to when repairs will be done. I received a call 2 days later, stating that repairs are done. I asked if my insurance company had paid for it, and I was told that they were unable to contact my insurance company BUT, I will have to pay for the repairs or will be charged storage fees. I contacted the service manager and was told that they will contact my insurance company. I was told on 3/30/23 that my insurance company will not pay for new parts, and I will have to pay the full amount. I DID NOT authorize service without my insurance company being contacted. I do feel that they intentionally did not contact my insurance company so as to inflate the amount for repairs.

Customer came into service because someone put a hole in his gas tank.   Service advisor gave the go ahead to bring the vehicle to legend and inspect and make an estimate.  The advisor made an estimate and gave it to the customer.  The customer gave the Advisor the authorization to work on the vehicle and gave a deposit for the gas tank.   The advisor had the customer sign the repair order and receipt with the authorization to perform the work.   Legend was able to obtain a gas tank within 2 days and had the mechanic put the gas tank in the vehicle.  The customer  wanted to make a claim to insurance to cover the repair.  Insurance was only covering $274 of the repair and the customer then said he never authorized the work and Legend was supposed to make a claim to insurance and get payment from them before we performed the work.  Sales **** was able to make a deal with ************ **** refunded customer $862.14 of the initial deposit of $1,112.14.  Customer signed a goodwill form and the vehicle was released into his custody.

To whom it may concern, customer lives out of town. We sent in the documents for him to sign, he signed but crossed out the etch on the paperwork and all the documents, which we cannot accept crossed out documents by state and by the lender. **** spoke with the customer on 09/29/2022 and asked if he can resign the paperwork without crossing anything out. For inconvenience **** also discounted the vehicle by $299.00. The customer said that works and will proceed with completing the paperwork.
