I had my oil changed at the location on Northwest blvd. While I was sitting in the waiting room two people were helped with there service requests. One was a middle aged man with a truck. He was treated on a friendly manner. The woman who was waiting in the room beside me had dark colored skin and a accent. When the employee who was working the register entered the waiting room again she asked if her car would be done soon because they gave her a time estimate when she arrived of how long her service would take and they were past that time frame. The employees response to the woman was aggressive and he made no effort to communicate clearly with her. He explained that it was taking longer because he still needed to figure out what type of oil to use for the car and implied that this was the womans fault. She requested regular oil and he replied that there is no such thing as regular oil and he spouted off the types of oil that could use in the car expecting her to understand what each one was without any explanation. She asked him about the price of the oil and the only option that he quoted her was for full synthetic and he told her that was what he was going to use since they could not come to an agreement on terms because she just wanted regular oil. It seemed clear to me that she wanted was the conventional oil option that he had he had given her but she did not know the difference between the options he gave and no explanation was given. The employee was abrupt with her throughout their interaction. I feel like she was taken advantage of and mistreated. I would not be comfortable having my wife take any of our vehicles to this business because she also is unfamiliar with anything that has to do with servicing a car.I also dont plan to come back myself. The employee was either being racist or just taking advantage of the fact the this woman was not familiar with the same terminology that he works with everyday, but either way, I wont be back.
