3 payments 8/14 8k,8/15 5k,8/16 ******* all in 2024, replaced all roof plywood, roof shingles, roofs box gutters. They didn't take precautions with the roofs perimeter and pushed the perimeter away from the trusses. Used 7/16" plywood when he said needed 1/2" plywood to be to Code. ****[owner]said on 8/27 he would be out to fix issues in two weeks my final check to him of $******* cleared same day. On 8/29 **** texted me and said the issues are not an issue Roosevelt roofing is responsible for blaming it on the awning that is attached to the rear perimeter of the home. But the issue is also present at the front of the home's perimeter and rear of the garage's perimeter. On 8/31 I saw the plywood in the garage attic that had printing on it that reads 7/16",11mm, and .418, I advised him via text, but won't return my text. He advertised through ****** of western **. I am sure all the shingles, plywood and gutters will need to be replaced, I request a full refund so I can hire someone else that will do quality work in redoing all the work Roosevelt roofing did.

    ****,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. At Roosevelt Roofing, our priority is to ensure every homeowner is satisfied with their experience. Regarding your specific concerns:
In the rear of your home, there is an awning over the back porch that is solely fastened to the fascia board. This DIY awning that you constructed places significant weight on the fascia, pulling it away from the trusses since it is not anchored to any structural component of the home. If this awning had been installed with proper support and a permit had been obtained, these issues could have been addressed or avoided. Please understand that we are not responsible for a structure that falls outside the scope of our agreed-upon work. The estimate, roofing process, and invoice did not mention your back porch awning. The existing gap between the fascia board and the truss tails is approximately 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch.
The plywood previously installed under your shingles was 3/8-inch thick. We identified approximately 20 rotted sheets that required replacement. I advised that 3/8-inch plywood is not optimal for roof decking due to weight-bearing concerns; 1/2-inch plywood is generally recommended. Its worth noting that most lumber does not measure out to its exact nominal sizefor example, a 2x4 is not exactly 2 inches by 4 inches. When I explained the difference, you requested a bid for 1/2-inch plywood, and we accommodated this at cost, which saved you over a thousand dollars with no profit margin for us. You expressed satisfaction with this, and we proceeded with the replacement.
After completing the roof, you and I conducted a walkthrough to inspect both the roof and the ground, ensuring the quality of work and cleanup. You confirmed that everything looked great, complimenting the crews work ethic, attention to detail, and cleanliness. At that point, you paid the remaining balance by check.
A week later, you contacted me about a gap in your fascia board.
