    We had a terrible experience buying our first home with ****. He was constantly telling us one thing on the phone, then sending us something else in writing. It was very unclear what documents were coming from him (which were apparently "unofficial" and not binding) and which were coming from the actual lender (who he did not represent, even though all communication with the lender came through him). We had more than one change to fees or charges that we had to request credits for because the multiple, repeated loan estimates were inaccurate. Including one we only discovered after we closed and couldn't do anything about. We would never work with **** again.

    Im sorry that you had a less than 5-star experience financing your first home with with our company. Everyone in our office strives to make every homebuying experience a good one and we are known for helping borrowers get the mortgage loan that is tailored to their needs and unique financial situation.

    We broker/partner with many lenders, all of whom send documents directly to our clients.  All of our loan officers partner with these lenders and are approved by them to originate loans on our borrowers behalf. It seems there may have been some confusion regarding this process, and for that we apologize.  We strive to provide clear communication throughout the lending cycle and understand it can be complex. The uniqueness of the purchase property posed additional challenges that are not typical for the average first time home buyer. The discovered item referenced in the review is a Federal guideline, disclosed many times that would be in place no matter which mortgage company did this loan.
