      I currently reside at **************** under operated by Targa Real Estate. I have lived here for two years and they are the third different management team to take over. Since I have lived here, my vehicle has been towed, even though I pay for parking. I have a sticker in my window, and the parking spots are not regulatory size sizes for the state of **********. Under the previous management, I try to resolve this, but still ended up having to pay $450 to have my vehicle taken out of the impound lot. But now my current complaint is that when I go to pay my monthly rent, I am now getting charged an extra $50 just to processmy payment. Essentially, Im paying money just to pay money. To make matters worse when this new management adjusted my bills I still owed an extra $103 for utilities, but in order for me to pay it again have to pay an additional $50 processing fee. To me this seems like a scam. I have an email from the management team saying that due to it being adjusted late. I will not be charged late fees but then lastnight I get home from work with a piece of paper stuck in my doorway saying that Im going to be charged extra late fees.

      Unfortunately a rating below one star isn't available. This company recently took over management of Old Towne apartments in ****** - While the building is old, management of the property is below expectations (which are already low). Our apartment has had a mold infestation for over a month, which has been communicated through messages, physical visits, and pictures with the property management team, property owners and the City of ******. They decided to send a cleaner to address the issue, when this isn't a cleaning problem. A combination of building age, poor management, leaks and excess humidity exacerbate the mold situation - the apartment and perhaps the entire building, needs mold remediation... isn't that a standard service to ensure your tenants wellbeing, the landlord is responsible for? I would expect so.Still, no response has been received, despite calling and leaving messages for ******* and *******, who allegedly oversees the property on behalf of Targa and uninterrupted monthly payments when we are not occupying the unit - for obvious health concerns.Needless to say, do you homework and do not lease at any rental property this company manages, their reviews are a good indicator of their poor service.Formal notification in writing via certified mail was sent 2/21/2025 and 3/10/2025.

      Trying to get a $200.00 security deposit back for my brother in law, **** ****** who passed away. We went and cleaned apt and supposedly check was sent. We never got. I have talked with them many times to get taken care of

      Targa Real Estate Services (a third-party management company) was hired by the building owner after your brother-in-law's passing. The previous management company is who is telling you that "the check is in the mail". However, we at Targa are aware of how trying these things can be at a time when you really don't need the aggravation of this type of "back & forth" conversation.

      We have issued a check from the building funds that we hold (not to be confused with those being held by the previous management company). Since we haven't been provided with a copy of the death certificate or a forwarding address for your brother-in-law's mail, we are legally bound to mail the check to his last known address. If you haven't yet done so, please put in a change of address at the post office right away so that the check will be forwarded to you. ***** reach out to our corporate property management team if you have any questions. Thank you.

      I sent the small estate affidavit and the death certificate 2 x via email. Last time I did was after seeing your correspondence on 2/28/25.  I have not heard anything back. I also told them to mail to my husband **** ****** at ***************************************************************************************

      After 6 mos a post office forwarding expired. Targa responded they would mail to ****** mailbox. Can you please intervene again?

      This business is the managing ** for ******************. They **llect the dues from home owners. I currently own 3 rental homes in ********* estate which they manage. I got a notice stating I needed to pay all 3 with 10days or I would be send to an attorney for **llection. I called them ..they called back 3 days later. I asked the man why I never recieved a bill and he replied..we don't send bills out..you know you own it. He was very rude. My **mplaint is I had to oay over $75 in late fees. Is this legal? Shouldn't they have the responsibility to bill the customers?

      Targa management has ****************************. This is an 8 plex. Since Targa took over management zero management over tenants. One in particular, tenant #B ***************************** children damaged my home, excessive noise, nuisance and in and out traffic. Police called numerous times. Parking in alley blocking traffic. Kids throwing rocks at cars. Garbage everywhere. Landlord ************************* and owners notified numerous times and do nothing. My gutter replacement from this tenant slamming ***** against it $800

      Between October 2023 and January 2024, I was charged a "Damage Waiver Program" fee of $13 per month, totaling $52, without prior notification or communication from the management. Despite repeated attempts to address this issue with the apartment management, my concerns have been blatantly ignored, and no action has been taken to rectify the situation.In February 2023, I received a denial letter for the renter's insurance policy, which was later confirmed to be an error during a system update. The manager assured me that I was opted out of paying any insurance due to having my own coverage. However, despite this confirmation, unauthorized charges was made starting October 2023 without any notification or confirmation.My attempts to resolve these issues directly with Campus View Apartments have been met with silence and indifference. Despite providing evidence of my opt-out status, my insured history and detailing the unauthorized charges, my concerns have been disregarded for over a week.

      I have been living in my apartment for over 3 years. I do not have any heat (the heater was red tagged before I moved in and never replaced). The electric breaker box is rigged (fire hazard). I spent money on slave heaters, but can only run one because ************ blow out.There are also issues with the plumbing. I have addressed this issue with the FIVE managers that have come & gone throughout my time here with no assistance. The current manager ******* told me he was 'very aware' of all the issues in my apartment. Nothing had been done. I have submitted multiple service requests and they have been deleted & ignored. Last year I had to stay in hotel one night because it was 40 in my apartment & below freezing outside.They refused to reimburse me. Prior to that I lost everything in my refrigerator, they came out and ordered a part but never fixed it, I lost over $400 in food and the most they would do is give me a $200 credit off rent. For 2 weeks the only good I had was from food bank and my canned items. I am in income adjusted housing, and I can't move, I'm disabled and have just enough to live on, so I can't pay someone to do the repairs. My rent is $880 a month and I've been here since June 2021. The amount below is estimated amount of how much rent I've paid since being here. Maybe that should be refunded since the apartment has had these issues since I've been here. I also think I shouldn't have to pay till repairs are COMPLETED.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      They have not completed at the repairs as of yet.   Some of the things haven't been scheduled.   I do have one heater installed.   In addition while maybe rent refund for the entire period of time isn't fair,  I still think that compensation of at l 6 -8 months rent would be reasonable. 

      Maybe 5 months rent and no future rent till ALL repairs are completed.

      I have a hole in my wall where the old cheater was it's being covered currently with a piece of Styrofoam but it goes to the outside I have sync that is corroded and peeling and just generally disgusting that's not replaced yet or if they said they have to refinish the sink & bathtub.   In addition my electric box has not been updated. While I do have working heaters one in the bedroom and 1 in the living room on occasion I do need to use a space heater and that of course continues to blow the breakers

      The Regional Manager and Director of ******************* for the property management company visited the complainant's apartment together on Monday, November 20, 2023. By that point, there were new cadet heaters installed in the bedroom and living room. Four outstanding maintenance items were discussed with the tenant:

      1.) Hole in wall to Outside After removing the foam block from the wall, it was discovered the wall is brickwork and not drywall. Staff has scheduled a contractor to make the repair 12/05 at 9:30am.
      2.) Kitchen Sink Maintenance staff will replace the sink. .
      3.) Tub Resurfacing Scheduled with the tenant for December 11th at 9:00am per tenant request.
      4.) Caulking around Tub Surround To be completed after tub resurfacing is finished.

      We also talked to the tenant about her request to be reimbursed for rent equal to several months of payments. We let her know that - as a third-party management company - we would need to get approval from the building owner to do this. Also, this building participates in a rent-regulated program through the **************, causing extra funds to often be non-existent for a request such as hers. We agreed to focus on the maintenance items at this time.

      I am rejecting this response because:  The only thing that has been scheduled and that's for next week is the tub resurfacing.  The other items discussed have not been even scheduled in addition I have asked for something to be done about my electrical box or breaker box Which seems to be ignored every time. in regards to Financial restitution I want something as the situation has been going on for years and I have been patient. the previous manager of our apartment had been changed again and I feel disappointed in efforts.    I also feel like there is some discrimination going on in regards to my disability.  I have talked with one of the higher managers named ****** and have said that once the complaints have all been resolved I would update my rating.

      Kitchen sink has been replaced.
      Vent to outside from old gas furnace has been patched.
      Cadet heaters have been installed.
      Resurfacing has been rescheduled at the request of the tenant to January 8th. Staff has requested confirmation that she has cleared her items out of the bathroom.
      ****** has noted that the breaker box needs replaced. We have advised tenant that the space heaters she is continuing to use is tripping ************. There are no longer any need for the space heaters. 
      Tenant has now added that there is a hole in the floor. After review, it is not a hole but rather a small spot missing LVP where the gas furnace was removed. We will contact the flooring vendor to schedule repair.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

      I have to be honest in stating that once I release this complaint that the remaining repairs will not be completed.   If they aren't I will open a new letter.   They have not given any compensation for the months (years)  of refusal to fix these issues,  I guess that is something I will not receive.
