    I booked 2 rooms in july 2021 and it was supposed be for 5 people and when we got there they only had 2 beds and they said they had a swimming pool and they did not. the manager gave me a phone # for a different motel,which I rented and they said they would refund me my money. they refunded me 900 dollars and change, but they still owe the balance of ******* dollars. and after many calls with them saying they would refund the balance, they never have refunded me the balance. Everytime I call, they the manager is gone for 30 days.

    Hi, We have been corresponding with the guest the last two weeks. This has been an issue with one of Expedias affiliates as they had given her false information and withheld her funds. The hotel had refunded both reservations promptly and Expedia also issued the refund to the its affiliate but only one refund was received. The guest has been extremely patient and understanding. There is an understanding the complaint refers through which the reservation was booked. This third party is not affiliated with the hotel, and its inability to respond or reissue her funds made the guest initially think the hotel was at fault. We have been in contact with both Expedia and the guest. The guest mentioned the affiliate of Expedia claimed they issued a voucher for her reservation yesterday. 

    The case has been escalated with Expedia. The hotel and the guest do not wish to continue business with this affiliate of Expedia. Expedia has responded today and said the funds were issued to the guest. The Expedia case number is:112761934. 

    This matter is nearly resolved but we are waiting for confirmation from the guest. The guest and hotel are both looking to report the third party affiliated with Expedia as much false information and withholding of information continues to occur.
