      I called to schedule a purchase and install of a remote start for our vehicle and the whole process was weird and not professional at all. Very similar to others' reviews. First I called and spoke with a gentleman, provided some general information on our vehicle and asked about a quote on install. They gave me a quote and some general specs on the product. We scheduled the install for 1PM the following day. While dropping the car off, I did ask if they were pretty confident it could be done same-day, and he blew off my concern and said they 'do these all the time' and that 'we should be done before 4PM'. Fast forward to ~4:30 and I gave them a call as I hadn't heard anything; my wife needed her vehicle the following day, so I wanted to verify where they were in the install. The person who picked up the phone (sounded like the same guy I spoke with at the store) answered the phone saying 'Foss Audio, (location) what's up?' I kind of laughed, but whatever. I told him my name and that I was calling about an install, which he confirmed and that I was wondering when it might be complete, if it would be overnight or before closing. He said 'Oh no, we should be done before closing' I mentioned it was pretty close to that time then, and he again said 'No problem, we'll give you a call'. Ok. No call, nothing after. As we needed the vehicle - we called at 9 am and someone who said they were a tech answered and we let them know we'd be in to pick up the vehicle. Once there, the same original guy offered that their tech was on call w support for 4 hours yesterday - apparently angry with me about that..? My concern was that it is unprofessional to not call, especially considering I called to check the status & told it would be ready. He said they attempted to call, got voicemail, I volunteered my phone showing 0 missed calls...but also - no VM left??? The guy shrugged and really couldn't care less. I have no idea if their install is good, but their 'service' is pitiful.

      I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone. I got my truck tinted. The top edge was wavy and gouged the first time. The truck should have never been sent out the door like this. Three days later I rolled down the windows for the first time to find this. I also found that my window defroster on the rear window was scrapped off in a spot and is now inoperative. They got me back in. Another day of taking the truck and waiting hours for it. Now it has a gap at the front of the drivers front window where the tint is short. I asked for them to repair it, I was contacted by the installer telling me to send additional photos from different angles. I told him I didnt want to play games. Asked if he could see the daylight showing and why a different angle would change anything. My only conclusion is he is trying to not fix it. I have now reached out to management and customer service. Still havent heard back from management. But customer service told me thank you for your review. Good luck with your vehicle moving forward. I asked for them to fix it, and they are to date refusing. I told them I would update my review if they made it right and they are still refusing to even look at it.

      I told him a couple hours after he reached out we would fix his window.  I don't know why he continues to post false information like we scraped off his defroster lines when it was the sticker he had on the defroster lines that caused the issue.  Offered to let him watch the video to verify this.  I guess he has a lack of big problems in his life so writing reviews on sites with false informaiton will have to suffice as a hobby.

      I went to Foss Audio on Friday 10/21/22. Before I went I You-Tubed about what the problem could be if the reverse camera isn't working on your car. I have a 2012 GL 450 ******** ***** You-Tube said that if your camera view is not totally black and the backup grid is still showing then you probably have a broken wire, a blown fuse, or not getting power to the camera. I personally went down to remove the panel off the back door to get to the camera in the rear. After I notice that the wiring was in a harness wrapped professionally. I knew that the broken wire was probably not the problem. I worked at Union Pacific as a trailer Mechanic for 12 years and it was part of my job to be able to diagnose electrical problems. So! I knew that the problem had to be either the ground, the fuse, or the power source. So not having the proper equipment I decided to take it to Foss Audio. I talk to the mechanic and told him what You-**** had said about the situation. So! he made an appointment for me for the following day and told me he would charge $159.00 an hour plus taxes I agreed and signed the appointment sheet. When I got there it was another Employee at the register and he told me he would charge $120.00 an hour plus taxes. Then he told me if it didn't take an hour and only 30 mins that he would pro-rate it and it would cost $60.00.The problem is that this mechanic didn't do anything but scam us. I walked in the back of the shop and he was at another vehicle at ********************************************************************************************************************** that he charges a base $159.00 even if it don't take an hour. He charged me for $159.00 plus taxes which came to $175.00 and we was there only 45 minutes and the panel was already down and all he had to do is take the tester and checked two wires. But what he did was let me and my wife sit in the lobby for 45 minutes so he could over charge us. Times are hard and these type of scams must be exposed.
