*** Dandy's Sewer and plumbing was contracted to replace a shower valve and water heater at the said property of 115 23rd. They opened up the wall took everything out without even measuring if the valve would fit. The plumber admitted the mistake when it didn't fit. They took another 3.5 hours to put it all back and wanted ME to pay for the 3.5 hours @$350hr for THEIR mistake. Ridiculous. I'm making a claim against their bond insurance. Never called to ask me what happened. Just threat's about liens. The new valve STILL hasn't been replaced.

On 10/19/22, I paid $925 (parts and labor not including 5% discount but before tax) to have a pil trap installed. I had them back later, only to be told that their warranty only extends 30 says and apparently I was past that ***** It would be at least $75 for a reassessment of the work before any fixes are done.

I have checked our records and see where we gave a bid to replace a p-trap in the scope of work done in October of 2022, I also see we were at this customers home in March of 2023 to give an estimate for a water heater replacement. I do not see any invoices for any other work since October of 2022. I would like it if this customer contacted me *************.

On 11/18/2022 we set up an appointment with ***************************** Sewer and Plumbing because we lost hot water and our gas water heater needed fixing. Two technicians (one named ****** & a trainee) arrived at 1:00 pm and determined that the mixing valve needed to be replaced. They told us the part needed to be brought from some store because they didnt not bring it and getting the part would take them about an hour to drive there and return back.We were given an estimate of $950-$1100 for the job including the cost of the part, one hour of driving time to get the part and one hour for the actual work at $350/hour rate. As we found out later, the driving time should not have been included in the cost. The technicians left at 1:10 PM and returned one hour later with the part but failed to provide a receipt for it, they told us it was $300 which we couldnt confirm. They started actual work at 2:10 PM, at 2:35 PM the mixing valve was replaced. Then they spent another 35 minutes on turning the water on and checking temperature.. By 3:10 PM the job was fully completed, they took off, but they parked in the parking lot around the corner for another 30 minutes, so their GPS was showing their location as if on the job site. Our final cost was $1187.00 for two-hour work, one hour of which was driving time.In the invoice there was no mention of the driving time; it said, retrieved the part and two-hour work time was charged. We brought this up with the general manager **** to get reimbursement for one hour which should not have been in the cost. The manager **** simply dismissed our concern. In talking to the manager ****, we found out the technician lied about the 1-hour driving time as they drove to their shop which is approximately 10 minutes away. The manager kept saying that the technicians had been working two hours which was a lie. It is not so much about the $350 they cheated us. It is about lying and not admitting it.

    Hello,

I am rejecting this response because *** Dandy technician named ****** did perform services at our home and now they seem like they aren't willing to admit that.

My wife ******************************* and I reside at the address 7903 ************************* Unit#2 *******, ** ***** where *** Dandy technician changed the water heater mixing valve on 11/18/2022. I  have received the invoice which was sent to me directly on my email on 11/19/2022; the Invoice #i11188; Work Order #*****.

In order to resolve the issue, I spoke with ***************************** general manager **** on the phone two times and he refused to work on a resolution. General manager **** said that the technician drove to their shop to get the part which is in Shoreline and we're in ******* which is very close, about 10-minute drive. We got charged for one hour driving time and the invoice showed as if the technician worked two hours when in fact they spent only one hour at our place. The technician said they had to drive to some store to purchase the part and charged us $300 but failed to produce the receipt. It's apparent the technician simply retrieved the part from their shop and that's the real reason for not having the receipt. The dishonesty of the company is the reason for our complaint.

    Sincerely,

    *********************
