Move out charges. I was a tenant at Park at ****** point in *******, **. I was charged ridiculous move out expenses I feel I should not have been charged. I had a major water leak from the ceiling that caused a lot of damage to my property. I was taking buckets of water out every day. I called , no one responded. Finally, the fire alarm for the entire building went off, the firemen came and determined it was from my unit. The electric wires were soaked with water. It was a mess. The alarm was taken down by their maintenance people but they NEVER came back to install a new one. They never even came back for 10 months to even fix the large whole in the ceiling despite numerous phone calls. Not even a simple sorry that happens. I finally moved out and left the unit spotless, I have a video. Instead of getting my deposit back, they said I owed them $1500 because I never gave a ***************************************************************************************** most of my deposit for "repair of a nail in the wall" and cleaning fees, REALLY?!!! I should have had them pay for my cleaning bill. I wish I had let the water leak, that would have caused thousands of dollars in damage to their building.

Hello,  we issued a refund of $128.09 out of a $757.00 deposit on this apartment.  There were charges for cleaning, painting, carpet cleaning and final utilities only.  We did communicate with the resident on several occasions after move out and sent all accounting to him.  The water leak that is referred to was a roof leak from March 2021, which was resolved quickly by our onsite maintenance team, as well as a roofing company.  Since that time frame there have been no maintenance requests from the resident requesting any work be done or continued, if we had missed anything it was not communicated with us. We did not charge for any damages caused from anything other then resident nail holes, marks on walls, cleanliness of the apartment and a carpet clean that was necessary per inspection.

I am rejecting this response because:

This woman is nothing but a liar!  10 months of requesting repairs, no response!!!  Her manager. ********* was on site the night things happened.  3 fire trucks ca due to fire alarms going off, she only came to flirt with the firemen.  Maintenance man also came to dismantle the fire alarm, agreed that the water damage was so severe it was unsafe due to water on electric wires.  Still, 10 months without a fire alarm replacement- against state law.  We left that place cleaner than when we took it over.  We were not asking for compensation for all our damages and wasted time SAVING THEIR DUMP BUILGING FROM WATER DAMAGE.  I expected them to have the decency to at least not deduct from our deposit-shameful
      Sincerely,

      ***********************

I am very sorry you feel this way and I do realize that your frustration is real and if you would like to discuss please call the office.  We did issue you a refund, however it was not for the entire amount of your security deposit.  We do charge for cleaning when the unit is not cleaned at move out and we would love to send you your lease showing those potential charges.  You can reach out at anytime.

      Thank you.
