I have been going to BHR in ******* ** for the last few years, and the treatment has gotten progressively worse and worse it's difficult for me to even know where to start. Staff members have denied me housing based on what I am labeled as and what is on my criminal record making it a hate crime. I am on now on my sixth counselor, who has been my counselor the least amount of time and has canceled appointments more then my previous counselors. While some of her excuses sound legitimate the frequency is too often. I was changed to my current counselor without my consent because of company policy without any regard for my mental health.Today at 5:20 pm a police officer interrupted me while I was writing this. I left my counselor three different messages today. She had told me before that if something happened to call and she would call me back. Instead of calling me back or having another counselor call me she called the police and had them come. I am already working with a attorney referred to me from the **** in ******* about hate crime charges involving the ******* police department, and due to what happened recently with the ************************** I will be adding them as well. Due to continuous mistreatment from police officers to me I have severe panic attacks whenever they come near me. I told my counselor all of this including the recent incident with the ************************** and in calling the police she caused me severe emotional distress. She is also aware that I am working on a hate crime lawsuit against BHR as I told her of it the last time we spoke. The only person I will talk to at BHR from now on is *********************. There is so much more that needs to be said here and I only have a limited amount of space so I will wait to be contacted.
