    We purchased a car in March. We've received the registration with tabs but no license plates. The tempary plate has expired aug 12, and when we contact the business they just say that they're "on there way." Now we're getting "oh they might be lost." They sometimes answer the phone and won't return messages. I've called, emailed and texted. ******* is the guys name.

    we definitely understand your concern, we apologize for the delay. Looks like you received the plates on AUG 16th. Looking at our records, we kept you in the loop with the delay on the registration of your vehicle. After you purchased the vehicle and we sent your paperwork to the state, we were made aware the previous owner had changed their last name during their ownership (most likely marriage/divorce) from the time they originally purchased the vehicle to when they traded the vehicle in to ******* *********** Therefore, we needed to get a "same name/one and the same person affidavit" signed by this person as their last name was different between the title and odometer statement. we informed you of this and gave you another temp tag. After informing the auction and *************************, this became their responsibly to get us the required documents. We definitely understand your frustration as we were contacting them on a weekly biases to resolve this. Unfortunately, when we received this document from them and got your vehicle registered it was during a time when the state of ********** was not producing or distributing plates. you and many others were made aware of this and was why you received only the registration, tabs and an extended temp tag from the state. During this time, no one purchasing a vehicle in the state were receiving new plates. After we finally received your plates along with about 3 months of backed plates, we were doing our best efforts in contacting customers and properly distributing. we sent your plates within a few days after receiving. We then were later contacted by your husband stating that he was notified by the post office they could not be delivered for an unknown reason.  We then had to do our due diligence in tracking down your plates, Keep in mind there were large number of plates being distributed at this time and the post office typically does send returned items to our office but rather are held at one of their locations. within a couple days they were tracked down and sent your way, we emailed you the tracking number so you could fallow them if they had yet to arrive. 

    Glad we were able to help get this resolved. we apologize for the delay and any inconveniences. hope you are enjoying your awesome diesel Jetta
