      Sportsmans Wharehouse are liar's changing a price on a gun from $1,479.99 to $1,849.99 I verified the lower price from customer service.

      Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to file a formal complaint against Sportsman's Warehouse for a recent purchase that was both misleading and unsatisfactory. On 11/10/23, I bought a pistol from Sportsman's Warehouse, which was advertised to come with a ROMEO1 PRO Optic. However, to my disappointment, the delivered product included a ROMEOZero PRO Optic instead. This substitution not only misrepresented the product but also significantly affected its functionality and value.Furthermore, upon taking the pistol to my local *********************** shooting range for setup, a technician examined the ROMEOZero PRO Optic and informed me that it was broken and not adjustable. This professional assessment confirmed that the optic is practically unusable. Despite multiple attempts to contact Sportsman's Warehouse to address and resolve this issue, my concerns have either been ignored or inadequately addressed.This experience has not only caused me inconvenience but also financial loss, as the product delivered does not meet the standards and specifications advertised. I am seeking a resolution in the form of either a proper replacement with the advertised ROMEO1 PRO Optic or a full refund for the defective and wrongly advertised product.I appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter and hope to prevent future customers from similar misleading and unsatisfactory experiences.Sincerely,

      Purchased a shotgun online. Went to pick it up and was told I had to wait up to 14 days. They would call me when ready. No problem. Called back 14 days and was told they hadnt heard back. Same thing for day 16, and 18. Finally, on day 20 I call and they say its ready and HAD been ready for a while. I go to pick it up and the Manager is in the back for ***** minutes. He comes back out front and states that the gun isnt ready. I told him I called earlier that day and was told it was ready. He treated me like I was a liar. I asked for my money back as they had already charged me for a gun I didnt even have. The manager went back for another ***** minutes and *************** the *** clearance code he needed. The problem is that this type of disorganization from retailers is what gets guns into the hands of the wrong people. I am 20 years active duty so there shouldnt have even been a wait to pick a shot gun up. Will not recommend or shop here again.

      I ordered a FoxPro X24 With Remote Digital Game Call. It arrived in a poorly packaged box. When I opened the box, there was internal damage to the product box and its contents. When I added batteries to the remote, the remote was damaged. It appears that someone else purchased it, sent it back, Sportsman's Warehouse repackaged it, and sent it to me. I called several times and spoke with several customer service reps. I even asked to speak with a supervisor, but none was available. They wanted photos for proof of the damage. They escalated it to the department that handles damaged merchandise, and the last representative I spoke with said she would send an RMA to return it. I waited for an hour, and it never came. I finally took it to a local Sportsman's Warehouse store and received the return credit. This is unacceptable for a company as well known as Sportsman's Warehouse, and I will never place an order online with them again.

      I wish I could give Sportsman's Warehouse negative stars. I ordered a Springfield Emissary from there online site on May 7th, 2022. It was supposed to be shipped to their ******** ** store. After two week the order status still showed pending shipment. I called their customer service department and was told the gun had never shipped and the store where the gun was had sold it to one of their local customers. It took Sportsman's Warehouse almost two weeks to refund my credit card. Not having learned my ****** I gave them another chance. On June 13 I ordered a ***** and ****** M@P9. The gun shipped to their ******** store and arrived on June 15th, 2022. The store never called to let me know it had arrived. I called their online customer service who said the gun was there and I should go in and complete my background check. After arriving at the store, I was told by the store manager that because of the high-capacity magazine ban he would not do the background check because the store changed the last day to perform the check to the 14th of June. There were still 10 business day to complete the background check. The last two background checks took less than 5 days each both of which were within the last 90 days. Sportsman's Warehouse has to be the worst companies I have done business with in a long time. If youre looking for a firearm or anything sporting goods related run far away from these clowns.
