      The recent credit card rollout is a disaster. Our new cards arrived but we couldnt activate them for a week. In the meantime our old cards failed so we had to switch all of our online recurring payments to a non-Gesa card. The day we were able to activate the cards, which we did, we received newer cards in the mail. The original new cards had the wrong fraud number on the back so we had to deactivate those and activate the new ones. Now our online banking is showing switched balances on our cards. We did not do that! Somehow someone else did. Weve been to a branch & on the phone for over three hours, talking to 7 different people. The issue is still not resolved. We are ready to shop for a new credit union!

      ZERO STARS, THIS CREDIT UNION CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. I have an auto loan with GESA. My bank made an error and i missed a payment. As soon as i realized it, I tried to call, go on the app and go on the website to quickly make the payment. There was NO PLACE on the app or website to make a payment. The website sent me to a separate website that i could not log into, ands when i tried to reset the password, I was NEVER sent the email to reset. EVERYTIME I CALL, I AM 18, 20, 22 IN LINE AND CANT GET THROUGH. I HAVE TO WORK AND CANNOT SIT ON THE PHONE ALL DAY WAITING TO FIX THIS. AT THIS POINT I AM GOING TO PAY THE LOAN OFF AND THEY WILL LOSE REMAINING INTEREST. I WILL NEVER USE THIS BANK AGAIN, THEY ARE HORRIBLE.

      The worst banking I have ever seen. Received harassing calls from ****** in collections, would call my father and argue with him. They never knew the status of my car loan ! Id make payments and they called to harass me about late payments! Repossessed my car 12/20, told me they could not accept anymore payments! The week of Christmas!Days later they cashed 2 checks I sent and never credited my account or refunded OR refused payment ! They never responded to emails or messages left ! Now I have to fight this illegal repossession and I still received a registration renewal from DOL ! Furthermore my car was for sale at a dealership in ******* since January 2025 ! Still registered in my name! Theyre ******!

      There's a 5k discrepancy for my auto payment. When I called their number and asked they said I have to let them know if I make extra payments. There was supposed to be an investigation done and credited to my account but nothing has been done. They don't know where the extra 5k is at. They are scammers.

      Overdraft fees pile up. They do not believe in OD protection.See these bad reviews and their lack of attention in their replies? Do KNOT waste your time or put your TRUST in Gesa.

      I had such an awful experience that I took money out of my investment account to pay off my loan faster so I didnt have to deal with them anymore. I am going to file a federal complaint about them as well. And to let the car dealership know to not use them as a loan option. 1000% do not recommend. Complete scam and incompetence.

      Horrible bank for a car loan. It is the only account I have with them and I am told repeatedly that my payment was received but not applied to your account this leads to late fees, reports to my credit score, and a REPO order without any notification to me AT ALL. After calling about the repo, I agreed to pay off the remainder of my car which was around $1500. After sending payment Im told an error was made on their part and I still owe an additional $300?! This credit union is 100% con artists and will nickel and dime you to death. Not to mention they nearly repoed my car which I had never missed a payment on. Getting the title once I paid off my car was also very drawn out and took over 3 months. Will never use this company again.

      I currently have over $20K in my checking account at ********************. On 1/27 I hired a contractor to demo a fiberglass bath/shower enclosure and we needed a drain plug wrench to remove the remaining portion. I drove to a local ********** to purchase the tool while my contractor was at my house working, I'm paying him on the hour. I gather the tools $48.00 worth and go to check out with my GESA Debit card. The cashier told me my card was declined, so I asked them to tyr iy again because I knew I had funds available. Declined 2 more times again. I drove to a nearby gas station to see if my card declined there and it did. Meantime my contractor is waiting for me and paying him to sit and do nothing. My wife is out of town and I couldn't reach her...finally she calls me and I drive back to ********** and she pays for the tools....she banks with US Bank. I paid my contractor for an hour of idle time at $120 an hour!!! On 1/28 I called the GESA number on back of card, employee said that she had no explanation why card was declined and said that there was a fraud issue and said ***** Services called my cell phone 7x without an answer, I never received any calls from GESA, she reactivated my card and told me to call back on 1/29. I called GESA on 1/29 and demanded to know why my card was declined on 1/27 at **********. I was told that GESA has determined that ALL TRANSACTIONS WITH ********** ARE FLAGGED AS POTENTIALLY FRADULENT AND CARDS ARE AUTOMATICALLY DECLINED! I've never heard anything so preposterous! Are you kidding me...GESA has the right to determine where I shop? SERIOUSLY, inconvenience me all you want, just turn my card off without forewarning me! Tomorrow I'm calling the Washington State Attorney General and ********** Corporate. We'll see if they agree with me that GESA stepped WAYYYYY out of bounds on this one...oh and I took a $120 hit as well from the contractor because I wasted an hour of his time!

      They are scammers. Dont be fooled by low interest financing which is a total disaster. I financed my two vehicles with them and I am not sure if I overpaid but I know they charge you a crazy amount with what they call it interest rate only payment. Be careful about the hidden interest charge which by itself is a big reason to stop dealing with them but I learned the hard way. Above all, they dont care about your credit score. I properly completed / paid my loan but at the end, my credit score messed up for no reason. My payment history is perfect but my credit fell down just after paying off and I am trying two fix that issue yet. Did they report my payment? I dont think so for I know that they dont care at all though they said, they did. Also, they asked me to open a saving account in the beginning of my auto loan, which I did and they didnt say anything or I didnt hear any info about my account even after I paid of my loan. I just remembered now. Anyway, dont try to finance or refinance, believe me they are a disaster. You pay higher and after all your credit score will be f up.

      Not only are the overdraft fees ridiculous, they've used online information to contact family members that i'm not regularly associated with when i owe them some money. And don't overpay for your vehicle loan or they'll stop the auto pay and let pre collections notify you about all the money that you "owe" them or double charge payments. Why?
