The ** of this hotel issued a $25 credit for a defective shower. The credit was never issued and my card was billed $25. I would also like my $50 deposit returned.

    Good morning,

Today this business dumped another fraudulent charge of $50 on my debit card. In total, the SureStay Plus Best Western SeaTac hotel has authorized a total of $75 in fraudulent charges on my debit card. The ** has failed to provide the $25 credit for the defective shower in my hotel room
I wrote her an email about the fraudulent charges of $25 yesterday and she authorized another $50 fraudulent charge today. I would like for the hotel to credit the $75 in fraudulent charges and issue the $25 the ** offered as a concession for the defective shower head in my hotel room.

Reservation# *********** Made and pre-paid with Affirm through ***** Travel. Best Western's Surestay Hotel has committed fraud on my credit card not just once, but double charged me for a room I already pre-paid for using Affirm.February 01, 2023, I checked in for a two night stay and handed the gentleman my ID and Credit Card. He did not speak English very well, so it was difficult to understand when he said he ran my credit card "First is for the room of $193 if you can sign. Second is the security deposit ($100)."I did not sign and asked, "did you say "for the room"? I already paid using Affirm."He then saw I had paid and immediately apologized and said, "I didnt see the message box, but you did pay. I put in to refund the $193. That and the security deposit should drop off after check out depending on the time the bank takes."This was an enormous inconvenience as I needed that amount for other travel needs and now I would not have access for that for days.February 05, the $100 security deposit drops off but there is no pending refund and there is a pending $193 charge still (for the room). So I called the location and spoke with a gal about it who told me that they expect their patrons to "let them know when they have paid using an outside source, because they don't always see the note for it", but that she would contact their online and get it fixed and refunded.February 06, it finally shows a refund pending, but now 2 charges at $193 each so I called the Best Western 800 number to which I had to explain to the representative the absurdity of this all and I just want my money back. He assured me he would fix that and apologized.February 07, there is now NO refund and there are still 2 fraudulent pending charges (I never signed for nor agreed to) from Best Western at $193 each ($386 total).I could not buy dinners or necessary items in my travels since and having tried to resolve Best Western's mistake with them, I'm filing a claim. Help, please.
