Billhunters Inc. is violating business guidelines in the states of Washington, ********, and Georgia, where it is registered. Essentially, the company presents itself as a cryptocurrency investment fund. The company uses agents who receive kickbacks to contact individuals over social media and recruit clients in-person in different states. The company and its agents persuade clients to invest in the investment fund. The fund shows users daily profits, but the graphs on the platform are not authentic trading results from daily cryptocurrency markets. They are falsely manipulated and are constructed by the company's employees to always show profits. However, when clients attempt to withdraw their funds, Billhunters Inc. refuses to release these funds. The company uses many tactics such as a mandatory tax payment that is to be submitted directly to the *** and a trust voucher to be purchased from one of its own agents to prevent the release of the funds and generate additional profits. From the point of initial investment through these various steps, Billhunters Inc. generates an estimated millions of dollars, little of which is ever returned to helpless investors. Investors are usually from low education and first-generation immigrant backgrounds. Apart from voicing concerns on social media forums, they are neither aware of their rights nor capable of truly seeking remedies. At this point, Billhunters Inc. has completed the following violations: tax evasion (it has not paid any taxes despite collecting millions in tax payments from investors), embezzlement (it has violated state and federal laws in how it has kept investors' funds), false advertising (it has not completed all documentation required to register as an investment fund in any states listed above), and document falsification. This information was received from a current Billhunters Inc. agent, who wishes to remain anonymous.
