My home suffered water and fire damages. In order to do the complete painting and floors the entire contents of the home had to be removed. Therefore, Contents Specialist was contracted to remove the contents of my entire house and they were supposed to bring everything back. Everything was packed out in boxes. The problem is many things were broken, damaged or missing that is to say stolen. Boxes labeled for one room had things from another room in them which made it tough to figure the totality of what was missing. They did repair the headboard to my bed, my weight bench, the broken wheels on my kitchen kart and partially damages to my stereo system but stopped that saying it was taking too long so they rejected completing that even though it was taking them to long not me. So, because they didn't complete the task within their timeline, they rejected completing that task of attempting replacing the damaged entertainment system (they couldn't fix so they had Best Buy come by), which was well below like kind for them, but I took their effort in consideration until they stopped saying it was taking too long as I said it took them to long, I was just being patient. The thief of many of the items personal and otherwise can never be replaced held from the 60's and 70's. and other personal items bundles to toilet paper for just one for instance. Other than fixed, repaired or attempted to replace was over $10,000.00 not counting the classic values from the 60's on up things being held from all though years past. I didn't have them appraised because I never felt it necessary. What made the thefts so easy was, they didn't do what they normally do take inventory so in my opinion the crew went shopping with my belongings which I told their representative several times. Also, when they first came by taking photo of everything twice, I asked what you need me to do and both of them on separate occasions said "don't worry we do everything" I trusted to blindly.
