  I need serious assistance from this company! I had made a review post a few years ago, and just decided that I actually wanted to remove my name, username, and profile photo to no longer be seen on the review. It didnt want my personal info out there linked to the review and the associated photos anymore. But I wanted to leave the review and photos up, in order to help others and give the surgeon the credit he deserves. So I changed my username name, but upon doing so it locked me out of my older username account. I thought all of my old posts and info would transfer over with a username change. Apparently not. Big mistake. I cant even access the review to edit it anymore, even though its still visiblewith my old profile photo, username and info visible on the post, and you can ever click on my old profile and still access it. It dont see how this is possible. Because BOTH usernames are linked to my SAME email! This seems like a serious technical flaw and an awful one at that. I need someone from Real Self to reach out to me immediately. I have called several times over the past hour, but one answers the phones. Even though ****** says that they are currently open for normal business hours. I dont know what to do about this whole issue. Maybe I should just delete the whole account and both profile names associated with my email?! But it says I need approval to even delete my profile. But Im not confident that if I delete this profile that is will get rid of that post I made under my old preexisting username. What a complicated very stressful matter. I have been panicking and stressed out over the past few hours, and probably will continue to stress over this until the issue is resolved. I really need this handled asap! Please change my review and make it NOT have my previous personal info on it! Take all my private info off your website in general!!! Im furious!

  I found an ENT for a possible Septoplasty on Realself. I would have spent hrs searching other sites but this was really quick and the closest ** was shown to me. I emailed them thru Realself.

  Good for researching doctors quickly. I mostly look at the ratings and reviews. I will have to travel so my only downside is only getting an estimate online and needing an appointment to get the real price. Doctors aren't doing as much of the virtual consults now that the pandemic is over.

  Awful company. Awful customer service. I posted an honest review of a botched tummy tuck. Doctor showed up to perform major surgery on a couple hours of sleep and likely still drunk. He did NOT perform muscle repair, screwed up my belly button, and had me under for 5-6 hours. I had a revision done by another physician who told me there was no evidence inside of any muscle repair. I was furious! I posted a review and RealSelf denied it saying it didnt follow their guidelines. How about looking at receipts and proof and just posting the **** review so others dont get hurt by this negligent doctor???????? Horrible! Shame on RealSelf.

  I've posted a review so far and also questions. It was a Godsend for researching and picking a doctor. Doctors were honest about my options and not afraid to say no sometimes. I'm thankful for their support and honesty so I didn't waste money on ***** worries.

  This site is a complete fraud. I use the site to research doctors on a septal perforation in my area. I found a doctor that said he specializes in septal perforations and the doctor said he could fix my perforation, no problem. I woke up from surgery with my head sliced open just behind the hairline with a 7 inch incision. He had drilled through my sinuses to procure cartilage from the back of my septum, and then cut out my entire septal nasal structure. The doctor ***** know how to rebuild my nose after that and close me with basically an empty nose, so no cartilage. This all for a 4 x 5 mm septal perforation, which is tiny. The doctor was looking for patients to perform the procedure he was trying to develop on and in turn, he ended up ruining my face. The doctor ***** get my informed consent to do this. I wrote a review with pictures about this doctor that was up for at least two years if not longer. The other day I went back to the site and noticed Realself had taken down my review. I emailed realself and asked why it was taken down and they gave me some song and dance about Thank you for bringing the store attention and gave no reason for why the review was taken down. I went over to Reddit and posted what had happened and a bunch of people had the same experience. Bad reviews just disappear because reasons. After I got my review put back up a couple of months later I noticed that the review of the doctor that originally caused the perforation(that I paid the perforation specialist doctor to fix and ended up destroying my face) disappeared. This site only cares about making money from doctors and theyre not interested in real reviews that could help somebody avoid doctors like the one that treated me.

  I'm very disappointed with RealSelf, Inc as I wrote a lengthy review of my surgical experience with ****************** and it was never posted along with the other reviews in the main thread of reviews. I wondered if it was even posted at all and I was only able to find it by search around and clicking on the notification tab. It's on the website but not accessible to other viewers. The BBB needs to investigate this RealSelf, Inc website further. It seems to only post positive reviews on its main thread of reviews.

  I'm trying to leave a review on Real Self. Trying to sign in but can't remember my password. When they send me the link to reset my password, the link won't give me the ability to reset the password without signing in first which requires the password which it won't give me the opportunity to reset. They really need to fix this.

  I wrote a real review on a docter and it has been taken down I provided proof of surgery and everything fake reviews and they take down any bad ones

  It doesnt matter how many good reviews a doctor has when one bad review can ruin everything. Elective surgery is a very serious decision and if its preformed carelessly can disable, disfigure you for life, or it can kill you. The people who designed this app and the doctors who use it know that. This app is definitely super useful if youre in the beginning stages of your planning, and want to read real experiences from real people that are positive. However DO NOT choose your surgeon from this app. I was researching surgeons in my area and I contact someone I found on RealSelf. I brought up a bad review that I had seen and the nurse brushed me off. Later THAT SAME DAY went to find the review again and it had been deleted. If youre considering plastic surgery make sure they are board-certified, and check reviews on Better Business Bureau, ********************* ***** ******, etc. DO NOT GO OFF OF THIS APP ALONE. Im really disappointed in the creators of this app, it would be a 10/10 app if I didnt know that they were deleting bad reviews.
