      Worst insurance company ever. The only insurance company I had that refused to pay for a needed prescription. They are bullies and do nothing to help the customer. I will continue to share with others how awful they are and that anyone else should run far away from them.

      I have had a horrible experience trying to access chiropractic and PT services that are a part of my benefits. My chiropractor has been able to identify and successfully treat an infrequent but recurring injury, and each episode is gate-kept by a Premera partner called ******* and I am not able to maintain my health and mobility as they will begin to deny visits while progress is made and before full pain-free movement can occur.This has been an awful experience and the injury would not be recurring if I could have reasonably regular visits to check in and maintain my health.

      I wish I could give no stars. Blue Cross is sick and plays with peoples health. They deny claims of treatments that have proven to be 95% effective and the treatment I have received before as now being experimental. They then block all communication to anyone that makes a decision. They also pretended that both of my appeals form my Dr. ***** have my permission and hid that they were even filed. I feel they are criminals and are violating the law for profits. How can this business have a A- rating with all the negative reviews of their crimes.

      I feel like someone is playing a cruel game with my health as the stakes. My PCP ordered ******* for me for steroid induced diabetes mellitus (I had been on metformin in the past and it gave me terrible GI upset). In the prior authorization process, Premera recommended Wegovy instead so my PCP ordered that. ( I received a note from Premera recommending Wegovy as well, and the note said it was because Ozempic is not okay for steroid induced diabetes, which is a very nit-picky designation because steroid induced diabetes is extremely similar to type II diabetes and not at all like type I diabetes, so Ozempic is actually a good choice from a pharmacodynamic standpoint). I went to pick it up at the pharmacy and was give a bill for $4466.99 for one month, which is an insane amount of money. I called Premera and was told that Wegovy is not covered by Premera for any indication. Now I am frustrated, don't have my anti-diabetic medication and I feel like I cannot trust Premera to have my best interest in mind.

      Shocked and Disappointed that after 3+ months, i still haven't received reimbursement for vision glasses. Frustrated that there's nothing else/more i can do after following Premera instructions one step at a time.January 13, 2023: i diligently followed every Premera step to file a $95 claim for vision glasses reimbursement. diligent as in "i don't want to give Premera any excuses to reject or delay my claim". Premera Vision Claim instruction stated (not verbatim):1. if provided info is incomplete or incorrect, they will notify me via postal mail.2. claims can take a week or two to process, maybe longer.March 24, 2023: i never received any snail mail or emails or any type of communication from Premera, their web site showed Claim Status stuck on "Processing" for over 2 months! i figured i gave them more than enough time and finally phoned them: Premera needs me to [re]file the claim again! which i did later the same day.Premera did have a record of receiving my initial claim in Jan, but failed to contact/notify me as stated in their own Claims Policy. There is absolutely ZERO chance that any of my info was missing or incomplete, as evidenced by their inability to pinpoint specifically what was missing in my initial claim submission.April 14, 2023: Premera claim status shows "Processed" on March 27 and check issued on March 31. Please allow **** business days (from finalization on 3/27) for reimbursement check to arrive via regular mail. Well it's now 14 days and counting with no signs of any reimbursement check. i will have to phone them again next week :(

      Premera took two years to review and process a claim for a COVID-19 test from 2021. It's 2023 now, and I'm scrambling to find the $400 to pay these criminals!

      Waiting for more than 2.5 hours on call, no response. Was trying to get approval to get my medications from a pharmacy. No luck. Very disappointed with this way of customer service.

      Premera Blue Cross did not reimburse me my claim from Flexible Spending Account for over 5 months. Everytime, i have called them they have assured me that the claim is approved and the check is being processed or will be sent within days. Everytime there is a new person giving me the assurance. The reimbursement hasnt arrived in 5 months.There is not one person in the customer service team that has accountability to get it processed. I would like help in getting this resolved.For others reading this review, pls ask your company not to chose Premera as service provider.

      I'm canceling these pieces of ****, especially after reading these reviews. A bunch of cheapskate. Pathetic coverage, and no lenience. Reversed a prescription for my psoriasis medication for God knows what, but probably because they're pathetic and don't want to pay. I will be going on every source possible to give them shifty reviews, because I will do my best to deter anyone from using them. F*** Premera
