I am VERY ANGRY! I ordered Makers Kit. That gets you 20 metal discs, string, letters, hammer. I paid $110.76.Saw on FB.Did not see metal discs are stamped "my intent" on back.I intended to sell my creations on Etsy, ************** etc Got an email today stating I can't do any of that. I have to "get certified " to do anything pretty much. I definitely can't do what I wanted. Order isn't even here. I can't find phone number.I can't find return instructions in site about returning Makers Kit.Only info about returning us regarding their jewelry.I have been scammed.I didn't INTEND to be an "ad banner" for them. I want my full $110.76 refunded! I have emailed them 2x already. I AM A PAYING CUSTOMER AND I HAVE ACCT!!! THEY HAVE MY MONEY! If not REFUNDED PROMPTLY I WILL FILE WITH MY CREDIT CARD(who always get my money back) I will continue to post here. I will post on social media. THIS STINKS OF MLM!!! NOT COOL! Misleading the public! I will also go on FB and report ad. So ANGRY! Shame on you "MY Intent". Stop defrauding people! (Anyone curious what you can't do after buying Makers Kit you'll have to deep dive site. Basically, they have a million rules about what you can't do. If you intend to sell your creations think again. And the words MY INTENT are stamped on back of all discs you receive! Ugh!

Hi ********,I cannot stress enough how important your feedback is to us, thank you for taking the time to reach out to let us know about your concerns. MyIntent was established in 2013 with the mission to be a positive and meaningful catalyst. I want to assure you that is still true and we had no intention for there to be a misunderstanding about our Maker Kits and Maker Certification Program. The program has been running since 2015 and we've worked with many makers who use their kits in a variety of ways since 2018 we've made the program into an exclusive in-person experience to encourage community connections.I see you were interested in selling items online, if that is something you prefer you have the option to use your own bracelets or items to stamp instead of stamping the official MyIntent Bracelets. We'd love for you to still try the kit!Our kits include our Official MyIntent Bracelets and we engrave the back of each token for authenticity - as a sign that each token has met our design specifications for high-quality materials and craftsmanship. On our Maker Kit product page, we list:All tools, tokens, and bracelets in our kits are the same as the ones used for MyIntent custom pieces! Tokens are blank on the front for stamping and are engraved with MyIntent branding on the back for authenticity.MyIntent's mission is to be a catalyst for meaningful conversation and positive action. We are not jewelry or a do it yourself company but a service project to live with intention. Each Maker Kit comes with the same bracelets, necklaces, or keychains that are proudly worn by millions of people around the world as a declaration and reminder of their strength, purpose, dreams...their WORD. MyIntent has been featured on the Today Show and Good Morning America.I hope this information provides insight into our mission, items, and the reasoning behind our engraving on the back. I left a voice mail and email update from [email protected] and appreciate the opportunity to make this right.

4/13/22 Dear MyIntent,Bravo on prompt response but my comment I'm sure is hard to ignore. You go on and on that MyIntent isn't a jewelry crafting item. That it is a MOVEMENT! A catalyst to positivity. No where in the ** ad or even the Amazon listing I saw later advertised it as a MOVEMENT. It was in the niche' of crafting and jewelry. Only after you shipped The Makers Kit to me I received an email about getting started and becoming a CERTIFIED MAKER. The certification says you may not sell online on platforms like *********** Poshmark, Mercari etc... That effectively eliminated how I wanted to create my own jewelry. Also EMBLAZONED on back of ALL metal discs is your advertisement MyIntent.org. This is not clearly delineated in the ** ad or Amazon. I am NOT part of your advertising no matter how you dress it up as a MOVEMENT. And the CERTIFIED MAKERS have to set up their "online" sites according to your stringent/rigid rules. I DID NOT buy a jewelry kit to be part of a MLM/CULTISH money maker for your company. I give you credit. My Intent found a new way to pedal a MLM as being something "special ". It's NOT! And selling like this to me and other customers is despicable. I bought a jewelry making kit. I expected to be my own artist. To create on both sides of metal disc. I didn't expect a company logo on MY artistic creation. I was very mislead, lied to, and disappointed. I firmly believe you must be UP FRONT about your "MOVEMENT" You must tell your prospective "customer?/follower" that they are creating for your company and not for themselves! I see Amazon only has a few reviews. Most reviews are empty "global views" so far. But people are starting to point out what is going on. Trustpilot is FULL of disgruntled customers. If you ****** My Intent scam you'll see I am not alone in being upset. So go do your "MOVEMENT"...but be HONEST! Not like me when I was emailed AFTER PAYMENT/SHIPMENT. Then I was "EDUCATED" about YOUR MISSION and the limitations therein. Don't put ** ads out to jewelry/crafters. You did not represent yourself fairly, responsibly, or equitably. In my HONEST opinion I DO NOT find your company positive. You're bilking customers with your own agenda. For Shame! Quit preying on people. It's bad business and it WILL CATCH UP WITH YOU!!!

Dear ****/BBB, I am impressed with some of the details of your response. I'm surprised by how much information you've shared. More than what's written here. It is very obvious your heart is in your business. A COO who took all this time to respond to me multiple times must have some care and integrity. I can tell you believe strongly about your business and what it stands for. I will concede there are positives. I'm learning more about your company's "intent". It is intriguing. I will look at additional links you supplied explaining about Maker certification and what that entails. I will say if a customer wants to be part of the "My Intent" mission good things could happen. BUT customers must know up front, from the beginning, exactly what they are spending their money on. They won't be able to sell online on platforms like Etsy, Mercari, ************** etc. This Makers Kit enables you to make bracelets /necklaces for gifts and limited sales online with specific rules governed by "My Intent". I understand there were issues maintaining "My Intent's" mission when their stamped jewelry was being compromised by being sold on other varied platforms. But the customer MUST UNDERSTAND you are not buying a jewelry crafting kit to make jewelry to sell. That is what I thought I had bought. That's why I was so mad after receiving an email after product had shipped telling me I couldn't do anything I had purchased the kit for. If I had known the "fine print" I would never have ordered the kit.I will acknowledge that **** has said he understood my confusion. It has happened to other customers. He intimated that his company is trying to clear up this confusion for customers BEFORE they purchase so they know exactly what they're getting and they agree with it.**** refunded my money in full.. In fact, after this confusion he told me to keep the kit. It did arrive banged ** in the mail I sent him photos . I appreciate not having another chore of printing, packaging, finding time and gas to drop off. I'm very very busy. He also referred me to a company he respects that makes the stamping kit for crafters who sell their work. That was very nice and helpful . I fully intend to go look.I'm "contemplating" giving kit to my church. Not sure if that's "appropriate "? I don't want to throw it out. But I can't use it without committing to The My Intent mission. I think I agree with some things. But I still wish I had known everything before buying. As **** told me My Intent is a small family business. After I've learned some things about his company I don't want to hurt their business. He told me how the business started and all the family members who work together. His wife sounds amazing. Her extensive background in autism research really interests me because my son is autistic and my Hubby and have advocated for him his whole life. They have participated in many varied autism related supports/events.So in conclusion, after my long ramble I am happy with the resolution given me by The ****************** I wish them the best in their future endeavors with hopes clarity can be given first time customers before they agree to The My Intent mission/movement. Sincerely, ***************************
