    Our children have attended Blue Skies Montessori since 10/1/2021 (our oldest), and 9/1/2023 (our youngest). We have generally been happy with the service provided by the teachers, but have always had issues - specifically around communication, issues with correct invoicing/payments debited, etc. from the owner/director ****** ***** ******* *********. One of the teachers unexpectedly passed away on 2/7/2024 and the school subsequently closed. All of the parents that have children attending Blue Skies were very supportive, understanding and accommodating of the situation as the teacher who passed is also ******** ******* *** ****** ** ***** **** ***** ********. In spite of repeated attempts by parents - communication from ****** has been very sparse, and all communication received contained no information regarding plans for opening/closure. We were eventually told on 2/18/2024 that the school would reopen on 2/20/2024, however when attempting to bring our kids to school, there was not anyone there, and no notice of close. We finally received an email on 2/21/2024 notifying us of school closure for good. We have requested a prorated refund of February's tuition ($2,305.16 refund requested, total tuition paid 2/1/2024 was $3,026), as well as removal of autopay and account information to prevent future charges. We have also reached out multiple times (email, text, phone) to retrieve our children's belongings and especially critical PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS from the facility with no response from ****** and requested refunds/actions have not been taken. We can see that messages have been "read" and we also see ****** actively posting on social media accounts, and pursuing a sale of the Blue Skies Montessori business/property that has moved into a "Pending" Status as of 2/21/2024. All information listed above has been documented (emails, text messages, call logs) and can be provided upon request.
