I give them a star because they did show up and get me into my. house. Other than that they clearly take advantage of people who are desperate. When I called he quoted me 39 for the visit plus labor (I had spent all day traveling from ********** MX only to arrive home at 8:30 pm and find I couldn't open my door). When the guy arrived he said the cost was 359 plus labor. I should have said no but I was so tired I just wanted to get into my house. He had to drill the lock to remove it, then offered to replace it with a digital lock for 125 dollars (later found it on ********** website for 69 dollars). All in all it ended up costing me 599 dollars. Ok, I am an idiot but they are crooks! Use anyone else, please!!!

Really bad and unprofessional experience. Reached out based on reviews but was excessively overcharged multiple times over verbal quote in two phone calls. Charged us $1200 for 3 lock changes (sliding patio door, two standard doors), onsite for less than 60mins. No specialist hardware or complexities. Daylight robbery. Steer clear.

Way over priced, was charged ****** for a lock that is available at ********** for *****. I did not know this in advance, so agreed to have it installed. Feel very taken advantage of. Person was unprofessionally dressed, was working out of his personal car trunk with boxes of locks. Did not even try to work with or program the lock I already had that was keyless. Very disappointed and will not be using them or recommending them.

Was left in a bind after my dog locked my car door. Insurance recommended I call 911 and explain that there was an animal involved and was told that Olympia doesn't respond to animals in vehicles. Gave me this number for CT locksmith. Im astounded that he charged 199 with a 29 dollar service fee totaling 250$.

Way overpriced! I was locked out of my house the night the power went out Called CT locksmith, 30 minutes later the guy came, took a wrench and turned one bolt to the right to open my door. He charged me $429 and said the rate was high "becuase of the storm". When I asked what the typical rate is he said $289. I told him what he was doing was highly unethical. They clearly take advantage of people in difficult situations.

On Tuesday, August 27th I locked my purse and phone at **** ***** in ********. I asked for help at the customer service counter inside the store and got someone who called a locksmith. That Locksmith was CT Locksmith. I waited 45 minutes and once he showed up it took 5 minutes to open the car. I had difficulty understanding the heavy accent and thought he said $50 plus a charge of $29. I thought that was reasonable and signed the tablet. He took my phone number and said he would send the receipt but have not received it yet. Two days later I received my bank statement showing a withdrawal of $504 to CT Locksmith. I definitely didn't hear or see a quote of $500 dollars. The price was extremely high for the work that was completed. We attempted to contact CT Locksmith for the overcharge and was told their management would call within 24 hours. CT Locksmith still hasnt responded and Im left with no alternative seek redress this in other ways.

If if were possible I would give this company - 5 stars. I called for a locksmith on a weekend after looking online for a locksmith. I had looked my *****, purse and cell phone in our office. I was told that a locksmith would be there in 15 minutes and their tech arrived. I explained that my purse with wallet, keys and phone were in the office. He explained there would be a $29 dollar fee for coming out and that he wouldnt know until he was done what the exact cost would be. He was unable to open the front door to the building so we went around the back and he couldnt open that door either. He explained both door had push bars and he would need to drill the lock and then replace the lock and it would be $349. Desperate I told him to please open the door, we entered and he opened another simple interior locked door and then replaced the look on the exterior door. We walked around the front of the building to my car and he let me know that it would be $997 for his services. Then went onto explain that he had taken more then a hundred off the price because he knew I was in a bind. I text my boss to explain. The next day she texted then called to let me know that the interior door he had opened would now not lock because it was broken. I gave her the number I had called so she could call and talk to the business. She called me later to let me know that she had checked out the business online and there were reviews it was a scam. She had talked to the tech and he said he would not come back unless she paid him more money. I called several different numbers I found for the business, I was hung up on, had the person answer pretend they couldnt hear my call and the tech call me back and yell at me. I finally contacted someone in their office explained what happened and was told I would be called back. I have not received a call back. I called other locksmiths and was told they would guarantee their working and would only charge between $120-200.

I needed to have my front door lock rekeyed. On April 9, 2024, I was referred by another locksmith company to CT Locksmith because original locksmith I called was booked out for 2 weeks. The technician from CT Locksmith rekeyed lock to my front door and gave one key. I asked why there is only one key, all he said was yes and left very quickly. I did not think about it at the time, the key given to me was not new and name engrave on key is another locksmith company and phone number. I looked up the locksmith and it was in a city 15 miles from Seattle. I tried to have copies of key made with 2 different companies and none of them could be inserted into the lock. I called CT Locksmith about the problems with duplicating the key. Another technician arrived and took the key to have it duplicated. It was the only key, so I had to unlock my door before giving technician the key. About 30 minutes later I was told the shop can make copies for $500. I asked why it was so expensive and I was told it was a special key. I told the technician to bring back the key. I am not paying $500 for 5 keys. We ended up at $100.00 for 5 keys because I had no key to my door. None of the 5 keys technician returned with fit in the lock; the technician said he will grind down the keys; I told him no. I paid the service fee and still have only 1 key.April 10, I call to speak with someone about the service call, I was asked if I had a complaint. I told the man what had happened the day before and was told the manager will call me. After 2 weeks and no call, I called April 25, I was told managers were in a meeting. A manager called back; I tried to tell him what had happened, he said he need to check with the technician, before I finished. He said he will call me. Today is May 15 and have not yet to hear from them. Both technicians drove regular cars, did not wear uniforms nor identify themselves. I had to ask for their names.I do not recommend CT Locksmith, under any situation.

The guy came in and was not able to open the padlock using his drill. So he broke the door handle at a storage facility. I had to pay 75dlls to the storage. After paying this guy 251dlls for his service. Now, they won't refund what he damaged.
