My wife went in for ****** mile service on her 2017 Corolla. They billed her $935! It included a pile of work that is NOT in Toyota's ****** mile maintenance schedule, including fuel injection clean, brake system flush, and a full alignment! It seems they have their own internal definition of 30k service that is far more extensive than Toyota's for stuff that is absolutely not needed. I've also looked at buying a car from them twice, and just walked out when they jacked the price way way over MSRP and claimed it was for standard extra services. This place is a ripoff. Stay far, far away. You can get your Toyota serviced by any dealer.

Toyota of Lake City is an abysmal excuse for a repair shop. I took my Prius in for some major work and, when I picked it up, a piece on the bottom was duct taped in place. When the duct tape inevitably failed a few days later, I returned the car. They kept me waiting for two and a half hours--after telling me it would take 30 minutes--only to come and tell me that they had ordered the wrong part and that my car was now held together by zip ties.Again, I returned it to Toyota. The car is fixed now, but they are now refusing to release it to me because they have not received the check from my insurance for the initial work they did. (Bear in mind, they did release it to me before; I had it for several days before these additional problems cropped up.) Now I am stuck paying an arm and a leg for a rental car I cannot afford because of (1) an issue between Toyota and my insurance that is not my fault and (2) because of Toyota's initial shoddy repair job. Also, they are now trying to claim that after they repaired my car "properly," I went and duct-taped it together myself.

Toyota of Lake City uses high pressure and sometimes dishonest tactics to get you to buy from them. When I came in, I only wanted to test drive a car, but the sales person asked for my keys to see if they could evaluate my car for a trade in. When I asked for my keys back, they would deflect and change the subject back to the sale.Anyway, I liked the car and despite the oddities, I bought it. The finance manager talked me into a warranty I don't need using tactics like saying it had to be done at the time of sale and showing me the total cost without my down payment.I should have backed out of the deal.I later had the car inspected by a third party, which overall was fine, but the fact that the scissor ******************* was missing and the tire iron broken really called into the question their certification process. The paperwork for which I didn't receive until a month after the sale. They ordered and paid for replacements with official Toyota parts. The caps on the child seat anchors were also missing, but they replaced those. However, over a month after the sale and after numerous calls to customer service, asking for the ** in general chat on the website, emails to the finance manager, and dropping by a few times when I had business to do there. You don't need to buy an extended warranty until your existing warranty is set to expire. Toyota **************** says the dealer needs to get on processing my warranty so they can cancel it, but they also told me that the dealer could refund me directly as the dealer never paid Toyota Finance. It has been over a month since the purchase. The finance manager didn't seem to notice I had no warranty until I brought it to his attention and despite seemingly only needing to resubmit the paperwork to with a certified vehicle number, there has been no progress after a week since talking to him in person and signing the cancelation paperwork.

The dealerships website claims: Every member of our staff is here to serve you, from our experienced, certified sales associates to our Toyota certified service technicians and management staff. We are all committed to this common goal of customer satisfaction. At ******************, nothing takes the place of courtesy. Shopping for a new vehicle at Toyota of Lake City is designed to take the stress and uncertainty out of buying a car. After confirming Id be coming at a scheduled time with a sales rep about a RAV4, upon arriving was told he wasnt working that day. The employee proceeded to tell me they didnt have anything for me to look at. I had to continue to ask for information. It was like pulling teeth to get them to take my business. We were then passed on to a sales person, who showed us some other cars, as I watched another customer taking a test drive in a RAV4. After we showed interest in one car the sales person asks, do you want to know what it would look like to own the car? He then indicated to fill in information on an iPad, then took it over to the desk, came back with an offer and financing, never stating that he was initiating a credit check. Not only was this a very poor customer service experience, but a credit inquiry was done in an underhanded way.
