      Don't waste your time ordering from them, these people are running a scam. Ordered a used cookbook on Amazon from them and got 100 vinyl exam gloves and a particulate respirator instead. I bet they have a warehouse full of random items they throw into boxes that they will continue to do because they can.

      I have ordered books from this site multiple times, and repeatedly the books have been delivered to the wrong address. As a result, my higher education studies have been negatively impacted and I have not received the materials that I need to complete my classes. I do not think I will be ordering any more books from here.

      I've ordered books from them a few times and had no problem. I just received 2 more today and they are fine. Do they look new? Of course not because they are used and sold at a lower price. All the pages are there, no rips or tears and no stains other than the wear and used color. I only bought them to read and they will do just fine for that.

      TERRIBLE COMPANY.Books are consistently misrepresented as in a better condition than what they arrive in. **************** team does not respond, they just partially refund or replace with yet another damaged book. Getting a refund is required, so I'm not giving any more than 1 star for doing what they SHOULD do. But they didnt refund me fully! They still owe me money and I sent MYRIAD emails to no avail. FCC needs to know about the false advertising of these filthy, damaged books. I hope this place goes out of business.

      I've been using Thriftbooks.com for many years and so far I have not had a problem. My expectations are realistic and therefore I am rarely disappointed. I understand these are used books and I am paying a fraction of the price. I've had to call them once and they did their best to remedy the situation. I will continue to use them for my reading pleasure. Thanks thriftbooks.

      Great service on a recent purchase. It arrived in good condition via **** delivery. I like Thrift Books as they sell used books which saves our environment. God bless them as this is a challenging business.Yours truly, a retired Library Clerk

      I have been a long time customer that has spent hundreds of dollars on books. In the last year their book quality has gone down . I ordered 3 valentine books for my grand kids suppose to be in good condition. The books came with pages detached and ripped out and bite marks from an animal. I contacted customer service they sent me one book to replace 3 bad ones that cost me $18 I now have no books to give grandkids and need to go out shopping now. I attempted to contact customer service again about 3 rd book in second shipment and it has been 5 days with no response from thrift books. It's bad enough we are buying books that are from thrift stores with lower prices on their tags compared to thrift books. I am no longer a customer to this book store and feel everyone should be aware!!!

      Terrible business practices. I put in the isbn number for my son's textbook, and it showed up on the site. Click and it switched books on me to an older edition. Now they refuse to refund it saying they delivered what I ordered.I think this is total switch and bait and shows a terrible business practices. They have lost my business and while that's meaningless to them, I hope they at least understand it's a rotten way to treat their customer.

      In order to delete your account, you are sent a confirmation email. This email leads you back to the site. During this process, you must click buttons that look exactly the same, are exactly the same color. After clicking confirm in your email, it is second nature to click the button that looks exactly like it on the page that it leads you to, expecting it to be a confirmation too. What that button does is cancel the deletion. You have to start the **************** again. Dark design.
