************ from Craftsman plumbing named ******************************* and ******************************* came to our residence to repair a plumbing job that they had done incorrectly. Instead of isolating a simple toilet clog, ******************************* created a backflow and water burst out of a pipe flooding our office floor with two inches of water. ******************************* DID NOT explain what had happened. They would NOT fix the backflow they had created. They left instead with no explanation leaving us to clean up two inches of water on our floor and without even explaining what had happened. They called some man named "Dusty" who showed up to our residence with a few towels and he would not explain what happened. He would also NOT ask ******************************* or ******************************* to fix the the issue THEY had created. We want a refund in full from this business for their initial misdiagnosis of the problem and for the fact that they left two inches of water on our floor and left without any explanation. The man named "Dusty" also would not provide explanation, but only told us we could hire them to fix the problem for additional fees. So "Dusty" stood in our residence and would not fix our issue that his team of ******************************* and *******************************. I repeat, they would not explain nor fix the issue they had caused. This is a new construction townhouse, and we have not had any plumbing issues or leaks prior to them entering our house and creating the backflow that leaked water all over the floor. They would not explain what happened, and when I asked them to fix it they simply left. They caused property damage to our floor and belongings, and they left without explanation. They are not a professional outfit and they need to be removed from the BBB for flooding our house and leaving without offering to repair or even explain what happened.Business response

We came out originally for a noise coming through your sink when your toilet was flushed. Given the symptoms our plumbers had observed, their course of action was to install a new mechanical vent for the sink. When that didnt resolve your issue, we came back out for free, under warranty, to try and understand what might be causing the gurgling in your sink. While looking for the issue, a clog in the main sewer line of your home caused a back up that overflowed water from a drain in your closet onto your office floor. Our plumbers did their best to address the immediate flooding, and offered you a referral to a separate company for water damage mitigation, which you declined. We also offered to pull another one of our plumbers from their work to give you a quote to clear your main line clog, which you declined.
We called the owner of the company, Dusty, to come help address your concerns. Due to the verbal harassment, and accusations of intentional damage, we were unable to continue work after we cleaned up your floor. We had to pull the plumbers from your home for their safety.
You have already received a refund from us. We will not be able to come out again to your home to address any needs due to your verbal harassment, but please do let us know if there is something else we can do to address your concerns.
