      I purchased life insurance leads from Quote Wizard on Monday, September 16th 2024.I had given this company $250.00 for exclusive leads that were guaranteed verified, only for me to start calling these leads and finding out the numbers were either disconnected or not even the right number to begin with. I had tried to get someone from customer service on the line for the past three days and finally got an answer back today. When speaking to customer service I requested to cancel and have at least the remaining $150.00 on my account refunded to my credit card, and when I gave him my reasoning he gave me very little explanation and before I could finish speaking he abruptly hung up on me. This does not seem like a very honest business, nor does it seem like a business that values it's customers. I am an independent agent, meaning I'm self employed and my income fully depends on these leads. It's hard to make a living when I'm receiving bad leads that I PAID for when they were supposed to be exclusive and verified. I would prefer a refund of the full $250, but I would even be willing to settle for at least the remaining $150.00 on my account as this has taken a hit to my earnings. Hopefully this issue can be resolved and everyone can go their separate ways afterwards. Thank you.

      QuoteWizard.com,LLC (QuoteWizard) has investigated the matter addressed in the BBB complaint. Agent signed on QuoteWizard.com, LLC (QuoteWizard) to receive leads, calls, or services on September 16, 2024, with Exclusive Life Leads ($15 per lead); the agent contacted *************** at QuoteWizard to move the initial activation date from 09/23/2024 to 09/20/2024, the agent account began to receive leads on 09/20/2024.
      The agent received 5 leads at $15 each for a total of $75 (leads) and 1 $10 lead totaling $85:
      $250 initial agent deposit
      $85 (billable leads)
      $250 - $85 = $165 was refunded to agent.
       It appears when the agent called in on 9/26/2024 the call was disconnected, we sent the agent a confirmation email that we would be closing out the account. The agent also emailed our support inbox requesting to cancel, we confirmed the account would be closed out and would refund the remaining balance to the agents primary card.
      After reviewing the cancellation call from 9/26/2024,the QW representative was very professional with responses and showed the agent how to credit leads before we would close out the account. It appears that the call might have gotten disconnected from the agent's end. We did send a courtesy follow-up email that we would close out the account.
      We sincerely hope this information has resolved the concerns in this matter.

      In August 2024, I purchased $500 worth of exclusive health insurance leads for an account. I was assured that these leads were thoroughly checked and verified, but they couldn't have been worse. Many had invalid phone numbers and emails, and those I managed to contact hadn't even requested information about health insurance. Despite this, the company refused to refund the full amount, only returning $325 after sending these horrible leads. Stay far away from this servicethey are clearly not doing the right thing and are more than likely collecting data instead of generating genuine inquiries about insurance. FCC will be next to contact.

      For 9 months, I've been receiving harassing calls and texts messages about insurance quotes addressing me by the wrong name (******* or *****.) If I decline the call & block the number, they call from another spoofed number. The call log provided is from 8/19/24 and the numbers went to Quote Wizard when I called the number back. I have asked them at least 50x to remove me from their *********** keep calling. This is harassment at this point. I have never given my information to this company, have no interest in their services, and they will not leave me alone. It is disruptive and distressing, especially because I often need to answer calls from outside of my contacts from work. This is unethical and illegal and I would like it to stop.

      I am rejecting this response because I have received WELL over one outbound phone call and text message from this company for "*****" and previously for another name ("******* from WV.") I have been receiving phone calls and text messages from spoofed numbers associated with Quote Wizard since 2022, I have asked them repeatedly to remove my number from their list and they have not complied. I will only be satisfied with this company ensuring me that they will never contact me (by phone, by email, or any other venue) again under any circumstance -- I have never visited their website, filled out any form, or consented to any communications from this company. This communication is simply untruthful.

      They also have a pattern of calling me from a spoofed number, then when I decline the call, they immediately pick back up again. This number is often routed back to Quote Wizard's main line.

      Please do not contact me again -- I will continue to reject any correspondence that implies I have filled out any consent forms to be contacted by this company for any reason. I have not, and your company has been unresponsive to me telling them I am not ***** and they need to remove me from their list. My name is not *****. The only ************ have ever known in my life is a dog. This is why the name and email address do not match your files, you harassed me as first calling me "*******" and then "*****." When I block the spoofed number, this company contacts me through a new spoofed number. 

      I have also had my current phone number for about 15 years, so there is no possibility that someone named ***** who used to have my phone number filled out the form on their website and then changed his number. There is no ***** or ******* and I need this business to commit to never contacting the number ************ before I will consider this complaint resolved.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me, provided I no longer receive any type of correspondence from QuoteWizard or text messages soliciting health insurance quotes for someone named "*****." If another call or text is received, I will file another complaint.

      I also would request that QuoteWizard implement some degree of verification for the information gathered through their website, as there has never been a ***** associated with my phone number. I will also again reiterate that I have received FAR MORE than 1 call from QuoteWizard.

The representative I spoke with was so rude and was more focused on arguing than resolving the situation and refused to let me speak with a supervisor . The worst experience ever. I canceled immediately and will never recommend quotewizard to anyone.

      QuoteWizard used obscure and vague language to mask that they will automatically debit my bank account without my knowledge charging me over $500 in less than 3 weeks. When confronted, QuoteWizard representatives and management were rude and refused to refund me the amount totaling the unknown and unexpected charges. This is bad business practices and I will never refer them to anyone I know due to their dishonest practices.

      I work at an insurance agency. We do not use quote wizard, but Quote wizard pops up on my computer every time I try to do a quote. It is a sales funnel. There is no option to block it. I didn't get a quote or subscribe. I find those tactics Aggressive and obnoxious

The *** link included in the BBB complaint takes you directly to the QuoteWizard Auto lead submission page, what the complainant seeing is our form. However,QuoteWizard has never encountered such issue (s). Perhaps the issue is something local involving the complainant browser; we would not have sent the agency anything that had links to our consumer form.
