Somehow QuoteWizard.com obtained my name and phone number through a data breach. Now Im receiving hundreds of phone calls a day from car insurance companies for 3 cars I do not own. This is beyond a nuisance and I cannot stop it. They just keep calling with different numbers.Business Response

QuoteWizard engaged in the unauthorized sale and dissemination of my personal identification information (PII) without my consent. I am an attorney for the State of Florida, and my PII is expressly exempt from publication pursuant to Florida Statute *******. The unauthorized sale of my protected information is a violation of my privacy rights under Florida law and has exposed me to potential harm.Facts 1. I recently discovered that QuoteWizard sold my PII without my authorization.2. I signed up for quotewizard and in the MINUTES following my registry, I began receiving call after call, back to back in rapid succession from 15+ different spoofed numbers- sometimes the same number repeatedly for hours and it has continued into today. I received over 45 phone calls yesterday alone from solicitors. It is beyond EXCESSIVE. It is more than an annoyance. It is HARASSMENT. The fine print said I could be contacted by up to 5 companies and their affiliates. This loosely worded framing is not to be trusted and is very clearly a breach. I have signed up for the do not call list and will continue reporting each and every call I receive until this madness stops. I will never purchase a policy this way. These companies are now wasting their own time and I will post anywhere I can to make this known. I have provided screenshots of the calls.Business Response

Company misleadly makes you assume you have offers already available online for health insurance then proceeds to leak your phone number to receive harrasing calls. Ive attempted blocking most calls but the continue to call from different numbers. On February 11th, 2025, I wanted to see what prescription insurance plans cost so I followed the steps that lead me to believe that I would see them. I received 16 calls and 7 texts from different numbers in less than 20 minutes. I have continued to receive back-to-back phone calls, emails, and text messages from different people wanting to give me a quote. This is harassment. I need to be completely removed from all of these companies call lists and any contact from Quote Wizard, Lending Tree, or the affiliated insurance companies..Business Response

I am rejecting this response because your website is intentionally deceptive. It's designed to lead the user to believe the next page is where you will see the quote(s), not immediately get harassed by 24 callers in two hours.Your website makes it look like there are about three options to choose from. I've been contacted over 130 times in the past week. Mostly calls, as well as texts, and emails.
Despite putting my number on the Do Not Call List on February 11th, responding to every text with "Stop" or whatever direction they provide to unsubscribe, if they even provide one, I'm getting no less than eight calls and five texts a day.
Before going to your website, I had never received a telemarketing call. This is a brand new work number for me. Now I'm going to have to switch my number because I can't operate my business being harassed all day like this.
Please make every effort to ensure your telemarketers stop harassing me.

I signed up for final expense leads and was supposed to receive 16 on Wednesday February 5th. However, I did not receive the leads, nor did I receive any notification or warning about the delay. When I called for clarification, I was informed that the leads I selected were low volume, but I could switch to a more expensive option. Additionally, I was initially told I would be able to edit my account independently, but that turned out not to be the case. No compensation was offered for the missed leads, and my account was canceled without my request. I have requested to speak with someone who can address my concerns.Business Response

This company is a scam all the leads are bad information that they probably just collected data from. I tried to cancel on their website many times and tried calling with no answer. Until my credit card reached its limit and they weren't able to take anymore money is when I finally got in touch with someone. They need to refund all of my money. The contact record shows that the agent only emailed with QuoteWizard once on 9/26/24 with a request to cancel. QuoteWizard then replied via email and attempted to contact via phone to inform the agent that cancellations must be handled via phone, per QuoteWizard policy. The account was paused for one week to allow the agent to reply, but there was no additional contact so billing continued. Should the agent want to cancel, they will need to contact QuoteWizard via phone at ************.

I paid $250 to Quote wizard last Saturday and was told I would receive exclusive leads at $10 each. I was scheduled to receive three leads day Monday through Friday. It is now Thursday and I have not received one lead. Not one. They do not answer the phone, but rather you have to leave a voicemail.
