I was misled into entering personal info on a website that turned out to be theirs but with a different name, and they instantly began harassing me with phone calls that I don't answer but the calls continue nevertheless -- 7 calls in the last 22 hrs. I hate this, and just want the calls to stop.Business response

On June 18, 2024, I called A Place for Mom using the customer service telephone number on our invoice and requested that our account be cancelled. They told me they only take written requests, and they do not cancel mid-month. I emailed ***** Light, the csr on June 18, 2024 that I am cancelling as of 7/31/2024. I included our customer number and account license. I received an email that we do not have an active contract, therefore, there is no need to cancel. We received an invoice for August. When I disputed the invoice, I was told that I didn't cancel with the correct division. Considering that I called the number on my invoice, and received a written email that we did not have a contract, I believe that I was misled, and I would like A Place for Mom - whatever division they maintain has our account, that they adjust our bill to zero. If the *** had told me that there are two divisions, and gave me a number to that division (not the number on the invoice that we pay), our cancellation would have been timely.Business response

The continue to call after numerous requests for no contact. Ive been told 3 times that I was on the no call list. It stops for a couple months and then starts back up. I just want the calls to stop!Business response

I contacted a place for mom at the beginning of 2024. I was looking for a place for my mom. I had already visited a few places. I secured a place for my mom on my own. It was the first company I visited ( before calling a place for mom ). I told them to stop calling because we found a place. They will not stop calling!!! A Place For Mom appeared to be a good reference website for information while seeking care facilities for my aging parents. However, they have been relentlessly calling my phone number despite at least ************************************************************************* Unfortuntately, I was inundated with care facilities upon my initial search and that was not helpful.I would hope that this company would review its business practices and demonstrate some compassion during a difficult time for families.The latest request practically demanded the name of the care facility we had chosen and for privacy reasons, we refuse to disclose that.It is such a difficult time of life going thru seeking care facilities and to have a business take advantage of families during this time is discouraging. It should not take repeated requests to stop all contact.I was most recently contacted again and requested to call back ************ on my answering machine. Continued contacts will result in continued complaints to the BBB and any organization that may help-when a customer asks to no longer be contacted, that should be honored.Please request this company remove all of my contact information and cease any further contact.Business response

I have been receiving multiple daily unsolicited phone calls from this company. I've never heard of them until I began receiving these calls - I've never solicited any services from them. I've been blocking the number each time I get a call but they keep calling from different numbers. I've been registered on the National Do Not Call registry since 2005 with the number this company keeps calling. I need to be removed from their call list as well as any contact lists they may have immediately.Business response

I request some basic information and now this company wont stop calling me. I have asked to be removed from the call list and they insist on taking more information. The lady i spoke to advised me that they use an automatic dialer and will continue to call unless I give them more information. They have called me 7 times in 24 hours.Business response
