      After you pay , there is no customer service! They are well trained to just day I am sorry ....they send you to deal with airline or hotel directly although they are the one who is responsible .

      I had only ever had positive experiences with Expedia for many years. Last week, I ended up staying at a hotel I booked through Expedia. The hotel room was awful and did not at all match the pictures on the website - I never expect hotel rooms to look as nice as they do in the photos, but they have always been fairly close. I ended up checking out of the hotel within 2 hours and found somewhere else to stay. Expedia took my photos and despite clear evidence that the room was terrible, they continued to side with the hotel. I spent $700 on this hotel room, and even more to book a second hotel room to stay in. All Expedia does is "call the hotel" but of course the hotel is never going to corroborate your bad experience. If you ever do need a legitimate refund, Expedia is never going to give it to you.

      I was promised $1401 refund by 2 different agents and received only $759. Requested a supervisor call back twice and nobody call me back.
